Sorry guys, I'm scanning the thread but have seen no response to this question so ...
Early on you say about the 20-20 rule. I know this is not hard and fast but do you now find that is more like a 30-30 rule as the markets are so much more volatile than they were when this thread was started - pre GFC.

Hi Max,

The 20/20 or 30/30 rule, is not what we are doing right now....
We are trying to catch runners (over 30 pips) by playing expectancy (#1 and #2)

Guys why these words are important?

LOSING.. TEST.. JOB DISCRIPTION..

I tell you..
when you make a entery with this philosophy in back of your mind as a backbone.. then you trade at ease and your expectaions are not way up there its rather incheck.. and you stay focused as to sticking with the plan because you got to fit your job discription..

when I enter i know I am only testing.. when i am testing i know i can lose and is welcomed.. and when i am in the trade i manage it as to my plan (survive & prserve) bcz i got my job discription in mind (runners)..

No hard core rules here.. no worship of any kind here..
market changes all the time and its a bitch.. lol.. so we stick with our guns..
but there are some key points that you are missing at this junction of your readings..
