Exactly what I was thinking. And since I got burned a couple of times with news events going the opposite way to what was to expect, I decided to sit them out and just have fun watching them unfold. Too dangerous for me.

I'll still short bias--I would like to see if the Daily TL it hit first then if it breaks or decides to go up.I think Wall Street will determine that

Why would it rally? USD is a safe haven. With stocks in the dumper, eurusd is going to be in the dumper.


Look at price in good economic times - Weak $. No reason we'd rally in a jobless recovery.

OK, I guess I'm not going crazy ... I came in here to find an answer .. why would really bad news for US economy cause $ to rise??

I guess it is just the wild, wacky world of forex....

Suppose that M15 hammer (although very early days) could indicate the big buyers were waiting to buy around the first support below 4500 just above 4460. Perhaps longs stops falling over. "Cheap" Euro?

Anyway, with such a negative NFP, it would be surprising to see the USD afloat next week.

Hopefully there hasn't been too much...:
