All the different EAs, indicators, and pics are posted separately in the upper right hand corner of every page of every thread. Just click on the little paperclip and you can find anything posted in this thread. The 5D version is posted Aug. 17 and you can download it from the paperclip that has the number 311 by it. It is a fast way of finding things.

1 H chart
1H NanningBob 40MA 200 BB EA
Pips = 200
TP = 200
Multiply = 2.0
Max Trades = 4
SL = 1000
Lot size = 0.01

It never went to 4th level.

It is really not a difficult EA to understand. ON a 4H chart I use a 40MA BB instead of the normal 20MA. When price hits the top line it will do a sell, set a SL of -1000 and a TP of 200. If price goes against you 200 pips it will enter a 2nd sell at a higher lot, (1.6 times the original lot size) so if your 1st lot is .02 the second is .03 and the third will be .05, it will do the same as the 1st lot in its settings. Same thing when price hits the bottom line except it will do a buy then.

and my belief is that there are many sizes and the best guess i have is use them all. here are my rules.
learn to program your EAs (i did for free on the net)
have many accounts. (build redundancy and don't just trust brokers)
i like to set up $250.00 set up the EAs and pairs and have it stop when equity makes it to 300 or loss with 200.
stay out of the trading. we know it makes money. and it can lose and we know how it does lose. so just try to get your account to 300 from 250. and shave the 50 off and build other accounts that trade differently. so if one size is losing another maybe making money. or vise versa.
i'm developing another tool for mitigating risk.

by the way if you like my auto scalling 60x90 i'm looking at the BB EAs ones.
with the BB 200x200 with 1.6 multi what currency pair would you say fits this lay out the best? nbob

Hi Maxim,

You are a software developer, could you please help me? I am doing some tests with "1H NanningBob 40MA 200 BB EA" and I would like to add a "Step" for "TakeProfit" .

For exemplo: If I have a "TakeProfit" = 100 pips and a "Step"= 25 pips.

Level 1 = TP will be 100 pips
Level 2 = TP will be 125 pips
Level 3 = TP will be 150 pips....

Again theoretically it should fit all pairs since the bands will adjust to price action. For example right now the Eur/chf is 90 pips from top band to bottom band and the gbp/jpy is 301 pips from top band to bottom. So this should really help in getting in too close to the MA line or having lines too far away. The Eur/chf will hardly ever trade on the 60x90 but will trade well on the BB and 180x100. That is the basis for using BB bands, the ability to adjust to each currency and pick up that 1-3 trades a week.

The multiplication can be adjusted based on margin and how much you have in the account. I am going to start .04 and multiply by 1.4 for the IBFX contest. That will give me three levels of .04, .06, .08. So that is what I look at on the multiplication. If I get into trouble on a trade i will do 6.8.6 on my recoveries.

For 2 weeks 4H BB did this 48.39:
Total Trades: 51 Short Positions (won %): 13 (100.00%) Long Positions (won %): 38 (78.95%) Profit Trades (% of total): 43 (84.31%) Loss trades (% of total): 8 (15.69%)










The 100x180 made 40.80:
Total Trades: 105 Short Positions (won %): 40 (70.00%) Long Positions (won %): 65 (73.85%) Profit Trades (% of total): 76 (72.38%) Loss trades (% of total): 29 (27.62%)The 4H BB passed the 100x180 the last 24 hours and did real well. This week was a very sluggish week for the 100x180 and only made a couple of bucks so interesting results. So the 100x180 made almost all its money last week and 4H BB did about the same both weeks.

I've been trying the original 60x90 chart TF for all pairs and modifying the 40 BB to use the 60x90 settings. Trading only 3 levels, here are my results for the week. I'm probably running this too rich on the initial lot size but it's impressive!! Maximum drawdown on $15,000 demo account is $949.00. This has been a slow week and I still need to do more testing. Got to test through much more volatile weeks though.

Mine is over 2 weeks and this week was really slow so you would not get a lot of trades this week. I went back and checked this week only and on 23 pairs I got 19 trades so that sounds about right. It is possible if the week is slow several pairs would not trade. Sounds like you have the same settings as mine. Even though I said I do not trade certain pairs, I do trade them on a demo still. My live accounts though I trade fewer pairs. I may go with 20 for the contest but I am not sure yet. I want to do my analysis first.

Anyway my settings are 40MA BB 200TP and 200 reenter. I go in and close trades a lot before the hit the 200 TP.

This is my demo continuse and live result at ibfx with capital 120 usd,about almost 2% growth a week,not bad.

your profit numbers dont seem right. Are you sure you are not using a 4D version on a 5D broker. Unless you changed the TP or are closing the trades early you are TP too early.

Hi, Bob

I use 4 D with IBfx live with leverage 1:400.Since my capital too small,I always close open trade at first level if it possible although it just 10 pips profit to maintain my margin.I think there is so much chance to trade and it just ok,since I use all 23 currency.

Tuesday Australian Interest rate.
Thursday Euro interest rate. If the Europeans change their interest rate then Fridays news will come into play also. If they dont change it then Friday's news should stay within the bounds of the EA.

We have been watching interest rate news closely since the dawn of 60x90 EA, just wondering if the interest rate news could be as important for newer EA like 180x100 and 40MA BB 200x200 as the trading range has increase significantly. Any thought/comment on this?
