Got a couple of shorts in at 4265 when it was tested the last couple of times. I'm not sure if it will test it again tonight, but playing with a tight SL, just in case upward breakout.

When watching S/R lines you only take into account where the price closed and not spikes, yes? So if there is i.e a spike up but price closed below R line, you treat this line as intact, correct?

coz there was no major news release.
It was technical, and the crude oil inventory news of unexpected large slump, caused oil to jump and the dollar to fall accordingly and on wall street rally. Gold also jumped.

i dont care on blue lines on larger tf maybe....make a chart using the white and red lines numbers.(red white and blue chart).then look at the wicks.. where they start and stop.through out history. Why do the wicks return to a certain place? some hundreds of pips long.

fill in with the blue lines.. they are smaller tf.. white and red larger ones.. i cant teach this you have to study the pairs movement around the numbers..it will take much ass time to do this..the pair does have a predictable personality at slow times without news..i posted a bunch about this in the last few months..but less in the past few weeks..im combining 2 systems..red white and blue are separate..from predictive charts..

Isn't the projected target on a diamond pattern break the height of the diamond. I see what you mean by exceeding a little only. The market has retraced back into the main track down for now (posted earlier 1 hr chart), but reduced selling pressure on the decline. Probably long covering rather than sellers. I don't see signs the big money is liquidating their total long today yet, although the high opf today was evidently not caused by increased buying pressure, but probably all those short stops being triggered. In effect, I expect to see some ranging before we see the real picture.
I think I will have to pull out my oil and USDX chart later to get a guage of how real this rally is.
P.S. I was anticipating a market rally to get near it's highs by end of month, but not before it made 1.4000. I may take a day off tomorrow to analyse longer term sentiment charts, as today likely to end losing, and I have a rule to take next day off if 3 losing trades in a row and day ends loss.
I am looking to exit my short off 1.4259 at 1.4214.

I wish EUR/USD will be able to drop down because I shorted it at 1.4260. Not sure if it is safe but I still think EUR/USD will drop down for long run.

I expect to see at least one more 4hr bar after this one before it really starts dropping off. Some kind of consolidation is of course to be expected after a big swing like today's. But it should be relatively fast. And as you point out big money needs time to switch out its position. Thats the point of head-fakes of course, to draw in the liquidity so they can profit by taking the other route, and leave the followers in the dust..
