if you count the waves like that (with wave 4 going into the price territory of wave 1) then wave C should be an ending diagonal but it looks nothing like that.
ending and leading diagonals are the wedges you see on the chart patterns courses. if i were you I would try to find a suitable extension to count in order to respect both the rules and the guidelines of EW theory

Everything just like in a book since 3 days.
I'm still picking up pieces and pages and trying to sort it all out.....
Man, the last couple days they really ripped the book to shreads.

. When it goes like in a book you're collecting many pips (on USDCHF there was really many pips to take using EWT - when you trust it), and when it doesn't go like in a book you've got only one Stop Loss order .Now I'm starting to look for next set ups...

i have a curiosity about the techniques you use to trade.
for example, i am analyzing monthly, weekly, daily, H4 and H1 ... i look for places to enter on H4 and enter when H1 supports my trade.
the result is ... less trades ... more pips per trade.
this is my technique ... and for the record i do not think i could have had an equity curve like Piglet in 2 months.
ah ... one more thing i risk 5% of the account on each trade and I am adding positions at Y, Z, 2 and 4

Hi all, this is my view of the cable. I see the end of wave 5 has been reached, if not a 100 points max extension is pretty much possible on wave 5. A correction wave A-B-C down is awaiting to happen anytime. Most probably after the release of the Non-Farm Payroll data tomorrow regardless of positive or negative figure. In my chart i have drawn a line of the possible end of the correction wave A-B-C. After that we will be anticipating a new impulse wave up.
