Yes, in fact it's a pretty good way to see at a glance which ones one should not be trading at any particular time. Some untangle, but not completely .. they are not committed to their new direction (like at breakfast, the chicken was involved with the egg but the pig was committed to the bacon...)

I have USDCAD 5 pips spread (right now) AUDUSD also 5 pips (7:52 EST)

I don't think it's possible to "scalp" anything with spreads like this.

Ain't that just the truth of the matter. At least for now.

I do have a couple more tools for the bag that everyone is going to have some fun with. Really want to make sure everyone sees at least potential here first. Am seeing a few postings indicating LOSING days of a consecutive nature. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! REFUSE TO LOSE. Need to be able to post positive days with the M80 charges first. Moving to C4 is less troublesome from a PA perspective, but will require extreme focus. Takes about a hour a day at best most of the time. Can even focus on your favorite pair. Spreads are not to much issue either. Can even do this on the old MT4.

Once you can handle higher explosive proficiently by simple primers and pushing a plunger without killing yourself (or your account) we can enter the final phase. NITROGLYCERIN!!!! Really packs a wallop then and you will be safe as babies doing it. Hang in there folks, we have not even a week under our belts. Still in demolition boot camp blowing up toy trains.

Some profit taking tomorrow maybe? Who knows. Hell, who cares? Just give us some oscillation and we will be off and running.

I am ok with 2 losing days in a ow, without those mistakes i would have never known why I should not have taken the trade. I was cocky and not focused. How does the saying go? You learn more from your mistakes than from your sucesses...

So far Hull has served my purposes in trading. MTF trading, divergence trading and S&R trading all in combination with one another.

I am more interested in tools like the dashboard to give information all at one glance with something similar or maybe C4 itself in the current form.

Still a couple of TRIX ramifications to test out.

Due to lifestyle commitments, I trade higher TF's

Getting the meat bit of the trend(MIDDLE) is suffcient but getting it a high win rate as much is possible is my thinking.

Happy to leave pips ar both ends of the trend. precision of start and end of trends are difficult and not my forte.

KISS is my style.

Another way to think is trade higher TF's ,still take small pips out and increase lot size.

FAr less stress!

Hello All,

haven't had a chance to post up my trades/charts, small addition to our family recently, and this small thing is taking up a big amount of time at the moment.

I have tried to follow the thread as much as I can, but its pace of growth is becoming hard to keep up.

I read some of the traders having some losses. This is definitely a possibility in some of the raning times we have had over the last 2-3 days. One thing I would suggest is having a look at something I love - corelation theory. Since we are trying to find the pair with the best pa, and the greatest chance of giving us our pips in the shortest time period, we need to see what currency is stronger. eg, usd/chf moving down, chances are that usd is getting weaker, so we could potentially also be seeing eu and gu going up. We could enter both, increasing our risk/reward. OR we could have a quck glance at eur/gbp and see what direction it is giving us. if eur/gbp is going up, chances of eur/usd hitting our target is better than gbp/usd, and vice versa.

Same sort of thing with eur/jpy, eur/usd and usd/jpy.

Sorry Edge, I don't really want the soldiers to be carrying extra baggage in the field, but for some, this extra tool might be worth the effort. If you don't feel so, let me know, and I'll be happy to delete this post, no offence taken.

Swingman's dashboard has a column called combi trend and coded to automatically rank the currencies in REALTIME according to trend strength.

I use it all the time. I suggewst checking it out.

Go back over my bad trades I know what I did, and i am more upset with myself for not sticking to my own guns. 3 of the 4 bad trades came after large candles, I know better than to take those trades, I studies price action and cadlesticks for the last year, I was cocky, hopefuly others are more disciplined than I and don't fall into the same trap.

Couldn't be at the PC during regular trading hours today so
just doing a little after hours testing of the iZeroAlpha indi, on a demo account I usually just use for forward testing EAs on when I'm away.
Closed trade after it broke a diagonal R trend line on the tick chart, was hoping to hang in for 15 pips but both iZeroAlpha & smFT were saying to exit so I did for a 10 pip virtual win.

Here's Swingman's FisherTransformer again for those that might have missed it on the TM thread...
Think this was the one he reworked so that it doesn't repaint.
I'm sure he'll let me know if I'm wrong.....

I have had several requests for my template so here goes. You will need to place the attached indicators in your indicator folder and the template in your template folder and then re-start your Mt4 platform. I have changed my 30M MTF Trix to 1hr but you can change it to any time frame you like.

I thought somewhere in this thread it was said that the SMTrix did not repaint once it turned a color. Today it repainted several time, I think that is going to happen until the current candle closes is that correct???
