4-h looks like it could close with a longgg upper wick. would be bearish if so.

I just used them for the first time today actually after realizing that those and pivots combined could be very deadly! .. but m15 and h1 helped me into my long from 6480.

your safest trades are to buy at support in an uptrend and sell at resistance in a downtrend .. the first sell of the daily pivot was in line with the sell off (downtrend) from 67xx .. that but was in the context of a 15 minute intraday uptrend, both were valid and both produced minimal drawdown and maximal reward

hi Jack,

I'm still learning so I hope you don't mind if this sounds like a dumb question.

I took a long position after we were ranging earlier between 6418 and 6479, and broke 6479...

it worked out.

Would you consider this risky as an entry point? I know it would have been better to get in at the before we moved up into the box range, but once you've missed the bottom, is the next resistance that's broken ok?
