Prav do you see anything on your chart thats telling you to short? We are trading above the daily pivot and we are making higher lows on daily chart we could possibly going to 1.405 on this move

Not so tired now , getting full power all .Over 1.3986 & 1.4008 should boost again.

I'm new to FX, been trading stocks for several years and wish I'd discovered this years ago. I've been lurking this thread for a few weeks now and have been building a short position with an average just north of 1.4000. Thanx to Notch and Gator and too many others to name for the insights you have offered. Looking for 1.3200 or less.

12 hr to ponder... current candle Close at 8pm EST this evening.

Either that 50% level gives way and it Kaboom's Up, or it don't and it Kablooey's down. Or not.

Just remember, those 12 hour candles may have very slight higher tops, but they're also in the middle of a 400 pip range at the 50% level, so one might ask oneself... "What's the big deal about "higher"?

My point being that on these TF's "Higher" is relative and that term doesn't really become significant until 4150/42xx or above... until then it's all just "in the range".

No Big deal. I'm short at the tops of the smaller TF ranges and long at the bottoms and out in a heartbeat based on the 30m/1hr ...

Currently still short at 96 and 94 if you must know...

Limit buy at 1.3931, target 1.4000

Trade this at your own risk, but i think ill stand by it

Thanks for the information, I am no expert . Excuse for my response . Surely it is so as there are bear pattern & I will try keep my long open till min 1.4019 to 1.4060 though it may happen at the level it already reached 1.4001, may be next H4 candle have the solution.

It is fair to say we are in a ranging channel at the moment.
Rather a scalpers market for now.
So rather than postulate numbers as to what may or may not happen, will sit on my hands and wait for a clear direction. At the moment nothing to trade
No question the trend is up though weak....that's what i see on my charts anyway...
Perhaps the Asia session might do something....

..at 1.3973.

I added more at 1.3999.

I will add only above today's top.

All my shorts are for +100 pips target, after 1.4000 touched and go, this will have only one more change to go up before new drops.

My H4 range is running out of time, I assume that crossing that range to the upside is very bad sign for shorts, so I will set SL for all shorts open from now until next 24hours.

It's fighting the 5fib candle syndrome.
Just a matter of some consolidation/correction before the move higher IMO

You don't think the US$ could just slowly bleed to death? Aren't the CBs more worried about the volatility? What if it was a slow orderly decline? Wouldn't that suit everyone?
