I'm a bit pissed. Had a long at 1.3833 and had set the SL to BE as the Euro was at 1.3880. Of course it came back exactly to 1.3833.

Of course there is. If it goes back there, we are in the safari observing the bears. Pull up a small TF chart and study and see wht it tells you. Look for divergence also, that could help.

Small H&S broken in small TF. Could scalp that for +10 pips with 4 pip SL if anyone wants.

ok so no sl is a bad thing as I've found out in the last hour. That was crazy and did anyone expect it? Where to from here?

It's not necessarily a bad idea. If you trade low leverage you usually don't need stops.

yes.. but you have to ask some of the others who seem to be able to predict the news. above 4041 odds increase to hit the center of universe 4175/79 area..the numbers posted above are valid..and if they are still being followed the pa will show it..

I'm going to go out on a limb here and bet that you're not playing the larger timeframes like 1H, 4H, Daily, etc...

If it gets that low it is first of all a psychological level, 2nd it is just above a pivot high in the lower TF. It would take less than 10 pips for it to break that pivot high on the downside, putting the retrace as a possible trend change, i.e. bearish. (the bears control that area)
Divergence: use any ocillator and see where momentum is making lower peaks while price is making higher peaks, or gauge the swings and see how much has been the largest retrace. That will give you an idea if it will get there. That's on the lower TF chart. Higher TF should also be consulted, but lower TF will do at first glance as the moves are happening in that TF now.

so who else saw this coming? All techs said short. Don't laugh as I still admit to be a rookie. Any advice is welcome without the sarcasm you guys relish on.
