South Korea Sends Missile Ship to Northern Sea Border (Update3)

June 2 (Bloomberg) -- South Korea deployed a naval ship with guided missiles to its sea border with North Korea as U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said America could repel any missile launch by the communist nation.
The South Korean vessel “carries overwhelming firepower compared to North Korean ships,” navy spokesman Bae Myung Woo told reporters in Seoul today. The deployment was made to “make it clear to all that we are determined to protect” the maritime border, he said.
Tensions have risen since North Korea tested a nuclear weapon and fired six short-range missiles last week, prompting international condemnation and a likely United Nations censure. Reports the North is preparing to test-launch a ballistic missile are “unconfirmed,” South Korean Defense Ministry spokesman Won Tae Jae said.
Gates late yesterday toured a missile-defense complex in Alaska, capping off a week-long trip of Asia in which he met with his South Korean, Japanese and Philippine counterparts.
“If there were a launch from a rogue state such as North Korea, I have good confidence that we would be able to deal with it,” he told reporters.
North Korean Threats
South Korea’s dispatch of the missile ship follows North Korean threats of a military strike after the South joined a U.S.-led initiative to curb the spread of weapons of mass destruction. The South decided to participate in the Proliferation Security Initiative, or PSI, in response to the North’s second atomic test in three years.
The U.S., China, Japan and Russia last week agreed to work toward a UN Security Council resolution censuring North Korean leader Kim Jong Il’s regime. The U.S. and Japan are seeking a commitment to cut off Kim’s international financial ties.
North Korea’s military leaders will “further strengthen our self-defense capabilities in the face of the U.S. and its supporting forces that are trying to crush and isolate” us, according to the official Korean Central News Agency. “Our self-defense capability is our sovereign right.”
Kim has named his third son, Kim Jong Un, as his successor to lead the Stalinist state, the Dong-A Ilbo newspaper said, citing unidentified people familiar with the situation. North Korea notified its diplomatic offices and is teaching its people a song in praise of the anointed leader, the daily said.
Loyalty Oaths
Some intelligence reports indicate North Korea is requiring loyalty oaths to Kim Jong Un, an opposition lawmaker who sits on the Intelligence Committee of the National Assembly said in a radio interview today. The legislator, Park Jie Won, said the reports haven’t been confirmed and that he has “doubts about the information,” according to the transcript provided by SBS Radio.
Jockeying over who will succeed the elder Kim, who likely suffered a stroke last August, may be related to the nuclear weapon test and missile launches, former and current U.S. officials have said. Yonhap News said in February Jong Un had been designated heir, while Kim Jong Il promoted his brother-in- law to a powerful military post last month.
Little is known about the youngest Kim. He is reportedly 26 years old, and was educated at an international school in Switzerland. He and older brother Kim Jong Chol have a different mother than the eldest son, Kim Jong Nam. Kim Jong Il succeeded his father, North Korea’s founder Kim Il Sung, as head of the impoverished country in 1994.

I have tried trading 3 pairs at the same time but eventually it confuses me.

i dont think i can ever handle more then 2 pairs at a time
becomes so messy.

i do 7 at times.. i have had as many as 9... the corolated ones i usaully close the laggers and let the better ones run..

thats amazing...

i have 7 graphs for 1 pair if i go with 9 pairs it means i have to watch 63 graphs at a time lollllll

Switzerland released its SVME PMI for the month of May came in at 39.8 which is higher than both the prior and projected readings of 34.7 and 36.5 respectively. Since the reading is still below 50, this shows us that the contraction was the lowest rate in seven months which is further supporting the fact that the global recession is easing.

This thing could spiral out of control faster than Wall Street and before you know you yound dudes will be receiving your miltary draft paper!

I don't normally post a 1 min chart. I fact I believe this is my first.
I am going to key off this during the early session. Already had a long off the bottom and closed out.

that was rare and dont do it much... when dollar is strong or weak its easy... then you just close the laggers.. i get more pips this way.. i cant keep track with a chart on all pairs... but i can tell you what one of many making the most pips. just by looking at pips made.... then you close the ones not moving much or even lossers.. i did it mostly with u.s. crosses.. and at times with euro pairs... the best pairs making the most pips i add positions usaully 2 or 3

i doubt the candle will touch 1.4700 again. At least not this week.

That's funny, I have also enter a short scalp (very small position) due to my 1min cycle turning down.

IMHO upcoming news prefer the bears. But who knows what will happen. Maybe this is a good opportunity for a retracement down

well i think if we do so...we have so many losing as well as winning trades and finally we find our self in no loss no profit postion only brokers have winning side.

Price failing further bulls at the top of the up channel and may come back down to the bottom for fresh strength .My short taken before is at 0 point again & can have the expected bull if can come over 1.4150 again.
Otherwise will close it as very wide sl here is not worth for the profit & wait again for further trade again.
