I see your point, but look at this:
Canada didn't require bank salvation policies, and there's no credit crunch so SMB's have no cash flow issues.
Switzerland - since when huge debt is a problem, since you pay it with cheap currency?

It hurts us all, but I think it's safe not to assume anything at this point, just play the card on the table.

I would pick US as the best bet even now to emerge stronger than others faster. May be I have a local bias, but a comparison between Britain/EZ vs US should be a no brainer really.

Btw Canada gets cold when US sneezes and Switzerland has one of the highest debt per capita in world which is higher than US has.

canada was helped when dollar devalued in the oil run up of last year.. people holding lonnie made money by just holding it.. canda gained by more then most cause at the same time dollar devalued it made u.s. products cheaper.. and while oil ect. rose canda sold oil making mega bucks..they will always come out better since they export oil..

Sydney May 21. The EUR/USD trades towards the top of a 1.3757/1.3798 range and dealers report real money and Asian demand in the last couple of hours. Sentiment on the USD has been bearish this week and local traders are reluctant to fight the trend. There are offers at 1.3800/30 that should slow, or cap upward progress this afternoon. The EUR/USD trades 1.3795/00

Canada...Ontario mainly, relies heavily on exports, primarily to the US/China. Our (Ontario) manufacturing sector has been shot with a 12 guage. And now the automakers are going down too here in Ontario. This province used to pay the other provinces to help keep them afloat. Now Ontario is asking the Fedearl government for a hand out. I don't care what you say about our banking system, a strong Canadian dollar is killing us. Obama retracted his "protectionism" comment a while back, but I can assure you, US protectionism is alive and well. They are rebuilding. And they need the greenback to stay low, low, low.

That's exactly the point Duce. No one wants their currency to be high now, it's hurting the exports and competitiveness.
I'm from Quebec and I know very well the impact if the US economy over us, yet, we're hurting now, but we're better than most of the economies out there.

This thing has held for awhile...it all comes down to how much do the fat cats want this time. I personally think they are playing the waiting game and driving people to play long in doing so. The biggest thing that throws doubt into the equation (for me) is the weekly chart. With that said, I think it is clearer to me that the US will recover at a quicker pace than most, if not all, others. So I'll go wherever that thought takes me.

I respectfully disagree. This country's conservative banking system looks good in bad times, but puts us behind many countries in good times. We're tooting our horn and saying 'our banks are better than yours', but we're doing NOTHING for our residents....We need JOBS !!! Our government has to switch gears and think of the future. We're relying too much on what we've been doing for decades....building cars, pumping oil and cutting down trees. All the forward thinking corporations are American and once they get the call from Obama (and some have received it already) to bring the troops home and build in the good ol' U.S. of A, we will become beggars. But I digress. The only solution I see is a complete devaluation of the worlds assets. I've said this before, we all have to return to the ground floor and rebuild. But there will be pain.

Revered or reversed ? Should be the latter.

Anyway my understanding of PA is such that price must first topped/stalled(top during rally bottom during decline) BEFORE price can reversed...

Sofar, there is no sign of topping/stalling yet.

IMHO, current PA suggests we may be looking at a major trend change if it advances another 300 pips. If that being the case, we may be looking at retracement at most and not a reversal.

Market will always go where it wants to go and if all your signposts are in the proper place, one can only trade according to its signposts and never otherwise until and when your signposts says its otherwise.......

Just my own trading thought without malice or trading bias....
