yes it is logical to be able to choose which one do you want to close... that's what I don't see in oanda... a "close against" option to choose.

~Fastrider I never used that option but i know it exists, need to try it out at my demo acc before use it in real. One more thing i never used (dont know if it is availible at all) is closing few trades in the same time by one click. I have seen "Close multiple positions" but never used it.

I usually have shorts and longs opened at the same time and i close exacly those that i choose to. I`m happy my broker allows hedging, it is pretty cool because when i`m not sure where market is heading i simply open counter position and if my first trade wasnt good i have my loss secured and i gain some profit before it turns where i wont to. Made a lot of pips this way.

Where is the "Close multiple positions" option in MT4? I could use that when things heat up

It depends where you're doing your fib from.

above 2677/2661 bullish... below bearish... dont be surprised if direction changes..2644/2692.. im not gonna enter.. may be a good scalp between these points either direction on the extreme of numbers..

I actually just had an entry order hit at LONG 1.2650.

I just couldnt resist getting a print on that number.

if you trade for a living you cherry pick trades.. its boring and not glamorous.. part of the reasoning behind my post is the eg.. its almost 2 X its normal atr.out of character for the eg.. and may put some cracks in euro strength..not written in stone...but will cause me to hold on to my cash..

at the same time when eg regroups after such a big move it should make gu stronger in the short term.. making gu a safer to long then eg

If you are referring to me, I must admit I don't understand your post at all
what eg you are talking about???
I don't trade for a living simply coz I am not able to make a living off this yet. But since I closed my real-estate agency when the cirisis hit, I am doing basicly only this. I have a bit more time untill I have to bank some profits, so the fight goes on

A new [IMF] report highlights that the [UK GOVT] has spent what amounts to a fifth of its GDP in bailing out troubled banks, way ahead of any other major economy. Ahead of the [G20 MEETING], fin ministers are to gather next Fri for a two day get together before the London Summit on 2 April. According to IMF figures, the UK has spent as much as 19.8% of GDP, with Norway a distant second spending 13.8%. The US on the other hand, even after spending billions on rescuing Bear Stearns/AIG has spent just 6.3% of its GDP. France and Italy meanwhile have spent just 1.5% and 1.3% respectively. By way of comparison, the G20 countries average has been 3.3% of GDP but note that the IMF calculations predate the latest Citigroup & RBS bailouts. A UK Treasury spokesperson said the UK was 'leading the way' in taking action to clean up banks' balance sheets & provide them with 'greater confidence to increase lending'.

The main opposition [UK CONSERVATIVE PARTY] will this week publish a report that raises the possibility of abolishing the [FSA] and returning banking oversight powers to the BoE, reversing the regulatory systems created by PM Brown. The Tory review will be unveiled by Sir James Sassoon, a former Treasury adviser who, curiously was also previously an adviser to Gordon Brown. Sir James' options for regulation could also include breaking the FSA into two new regulators, with a new 'prudential' body charged with ensuring that banks keep enough money in reserve to protect them from future downturns. Interestingly, Lord Turner, the FSA chairman, is also preparing to to publish his own work on changing Britain's banking rules. Recall that Lord Turner has previously blamed PM Brown for helping to fuel the banking crisis saying the FSA had come under 'political pressure' not to be 'heavy & intrusive' with banks.

no i was not..im into realesate some also... a lot less then i was in the past.. waiting for another rtc...treat this as you would realestate.. buy the good stuff at the best price.. name your price on your terms...im not a scalper so ignore this if you are...

the 2662 limit sell pick is due to a simple retractio0n to the 61.8 fib. Since the price was so reluctant to go down and the dow was making faint attemts to go higher, figured we ill go beyong the 50%
