Historical data question

I am a software engineer experimenting with some algorithms in the forex market.

I am looking for a broker that gives genuine data of quotes in the last year, preferably an ECN, preferably with MT4 support. what I need is the open,close,min and max for each miniute in some pair, say EURUSD.

MBtrading I see has MT4 platform but the data only starts from when they started the beta testing - about one and a half months ago. before that its just charts that can not be exported in any format other then the charts of thier navigator platform.

dukascopy enables downloading data from their website, but i see some very big differences in this data form the charts their java based platform gives(in the demo account).

Is there any ecn broker out there that gives the data for downloading, plain and simple, in any readable format? why this in-transperency?

You can download the MBT Navigator SDK and do a small application that downloads historical data. Its really straight forward if you are fluent in a .NET language(or even VB6). The SDK supports historical data on a alpha basis - but it does already work reliably, and there is more than a years data available. It supports bid/ask tick, minute and daily data.
