Cool change has just hit so I'm out for a swim in the pool (should be cool enough now) and one of those Wanka Beers from the fridge

i think drivers was partially right who ever bought at the bottom got a nice run but i think shorts would be smart in the near future

I hedged my shorts, and will hold the hedge till I see the 2783 area. If the bull run starts now, and we don't reach that level, I'll either be a hedge holding son of a $%^& or a large drawdown holding son of a $%^

What do you mean by if London does not open? Is there a holiday or are you just using a metaphor????

IBFX let's you take 2 opposing trades on the same currency. You just have to know which one to close, and when. Or you'll be holding onto a losing trade with a large draw down. I trade on weekly most of the time so I don't mind the drawdown, as long as I'm holding the direction of the monthly trend.

Don't get it twisted, large drawdowns aren't for the faint of heart. But If we do head further south, my drawdown will only be from the level we have here till 2873. Unless we keep heading south. On the flip side if we head north, to the level I'm expecting. I better hold onto my nuts. My answer to that will be to add more positions on the ride north, and cut the loosing shorts. The additional positions will compensate for the loosing shorts.

damn...... it's been cold here in LA these days to... like 38-40F in the am.

i bet there is some truth to this one...russias done put a fork in her... europe has lots of investments there... domino affect..

The [RUSSIAN GOVT] has denied reports that it is considering the restructuring of domestic banks $400bn [CORPORATE DEBT] and says it is not in talks with foreign banks over this matter. The cost of plugging bank/corporate external re-fin needs is est at $120bn by the CBR for 2009, implying a huge [FX RESERVE DRAIN] if a 1998 magnitude crisis re-occurs. According to the CBR, 34 banks already failed in 2008 and support for the sector has already cost the sovereign a material amount. The CBR deposited $50bn with VEB to help refinance short-term external debt maturities and $180bn has been set aside to provide support for the corporate/banking sectors. The key worry is that possible bank run infects more solid institutions, leading to a deeper currency crisis and contaminating already poor fundamentals in neighbouring EEMEA countries. extreme stress.
