Yeah, I have 4 positions with over 4000 pips in the green open at the mo. Positions against the JPY and USD.

I spent days working out each of those trades, until I knew I had a high probability of success and a good entry point.

As these are position trades, I am willing to let the market move up and down for a while, there is no rush to jump out.

I made these back in August.

Nice work on those. I have considered doing position trades but my account wudnt handle the draw down, unless i got in like u did on cable.
U must have a nice healthy account balance

That's a good word: healthy. Position trading is one of the best strategies if you pull it off correctly. It has taken my account rather high, in monetary terms.

iv entered another sell 1.3732.

Makes my trades look rather pathetic. I am happy with them though.

I'll write up on it and let you know. I think I may have some images and screen shots of the trade entries. I'll have to look on my other computer.

In terms of this GU, it's quite simple. There is a support level, around 1.3730, watch this area, and then 1.37, and 1.3680.

what vol were you given?
Potential breakout of the triangle. Break could be either down or up. My bias is down to test previously mentioned support levels.

On the 5 min, it's been trapped, ranging between the support and resistance lines, with false breakouts.

Hey guys hows it going, Ive closed all my shorts for some profit not quite 4700 but managed to grab some good pips at last.

Currently Im looking at a falling wedge so no more shorts for me, could this be a bullish reversal???

You know in most cases when you find yourself hoping, you are wrong, and just get out of market. This requires the most self-discipline of all. You were wrong. Never hope; just manage doubt. When the market is in control of your position you know your out of control which is hope.
Maybe, some retrace on GBP now, after drop more than 1000 pip in 3 days, maybe some 50-100 pip now...I look on 1.3850 now.
The market is always right, but it is not never wrong!!!

Are you still holding your long, which you entered a couple of days ago without any stop in place?

I guess you've made good profits on the trade, from using your Batch Hedging system?

I'm in with stops 100 pips on both g/u and g/y. Looks like it needs to have a retracement before it can go lower.

My risk management skills are very good. That is why i survived 25 years trading. Stopped out reversed took profit reversed went long last night and made 160 on two pairs. Please don't think i hold losers so far from market that is rookie's mistake and i cut quick to keep my entry price as close to market as possilbe because you can only make money with entry close to market to be in market. Taking loses is all part of trading.

and yes i am up 3.8% so far in january with batched scale hedge but that is my system not my manuael entries. System has made at least 1% a week for past 6 months since running.
