m2 on ibfx

is it possible to add a timeframe to MT4, My broker is ibfx and i have found a strategy that needs M2..

ok i installed the indicator, the candles didnt seem to change? and the tab still says m1?

OK, guess I forgot to say how it works. Start the indicator on say a 1-minute chart. In the input box use multiplier of 2 for 2-minutes. Give it a few seconds to build the 2-minute data in the history folder. Go to Open, Offline, look for your new symbol XXXYYY,M2 and open that. It will open and behave just like a standard server file (almost, these converted files have a tendency to stop updating sometime so do not bet the bank on them). They can run scripts and indicators. I think they can not run EAs.

Ok here goes

select 2 as the multple in the input tab
Minimze the M1 chart

select the File tab in the upper right of MT4
select Open Offline

look down through the list until you fine your M2 chart in your currency
double click on it.

Now you have your M2 chart running
It says it is off line, but it is just the history to create the M2 chart that is offline

As long as you leave the M1 chart running it will feed the M2 chart live data
