blah went in short at 1.2990 and couldnt hold my position for longer then 20pips...sometimes scalping is a blessing and a curse...anyways...we broke down below the longer term upper wall of the 1month old triangle...pa above it lets consider a spike for now. a retest of that upper wall (currently 1.2955) would provide another great short entry if it holds..lets see now

no i went downstairs to cook for a few minutes and walked into it... i was the friggen dummy who posted the 1.306 resistance... i should of been in this one.. i could of be a contender!!! oh welll other 2 trades are doing ok..

I'm just a newbie but I feel really P.O.'d also since I missed the boat TWICE on this pair. Once on the way up ( I had no faith that it would continue) and on the way down ( the wife HAD TO have lunch at the apex of the Upward trend). $#@&

I hit the USDCHF for few on the tail end of the drop-off but the worst story is that I was IN on the EURUSD when it still had about 150 pips to go and pulled out for fear of hitting my stop when in actuality it only came within about 10 pips of the stop. $#%@ $%@#

Some resistance at 1.292 Intraday R1 acting as support..
Holding shorts for T1 @1.28816 (Daily pivot)

i think its worth nothing usd/jpy is getting dangerously close to the lows..ever...dow keeps dropping as well and all other pairs seem to get weaker versus the dollar. it seems like its only a matter of time before eur/usd falls down hard as well. the only question remaining is who is the leading indicator...eur/usd..or everything else...time will tell

i'm out of my short now.now i'm long for 10-20 pips. too big of a move down.

long at 1.2924 limit at 1.2944

dont feel bad about the run up...it went against the trend big time..it lost all correlation to everything else...most of us missed that ride up (except possibly algirdas and his followers) but yea...sometimes its best to stay out if things dont make sense...i dont have any regrets and i expected this to happen...just because it didnt happen in a way that makes sense.

Thanks for the logical explanation of that very stressful event. Since I'm new and have real money riding on this I have the 'must get in on the big runs' mentality that I have to suppress. I felt competely helpless on the run up since I thought I should have a way in if I know how to do this stuff? My Stoch (slowline) was pushing the prices up on every time frame but I didn't have the guts to stay in it. 'Next time'......

Just a suggestion...why bail out..if you think the move becomes to large..

I use manual trailing stops between 50 - 150 pips depending on PA
This way you still secure most profits in case of a sudden retrace and it provides you with time for a possible re-entry at the same time..

Just my 2 cents...

last night aus/usd fell before eu for what thats worth..

Last chart until daily close..

EU has been slowly but surely losing some of it's strong correlation to EJ and the yen crosses as some risk appetite returns, or seems to be returning even if only on a day to day basis.

That said, a strong move on EJ should still exert some influence on EU and my charts are not THAT out of synch just yet ...

Her's where EJ is on the 1hr . This could be a heads up indi for an EU move simply becuz it moves so much farther and faster. It's currently sitting right on the LTL that it just bounced on. That's also the 00 figure and 62% fibo. GY sitting on/near it's 136.00 figure and 1hr swing fib level as well.

Clearly breaking below this level should drag on EU, while a strong upmove being... well a strong upmove...

current technical analysis. after briefly breaking the 1month old triangle we have broken the upwards channel...finally. now we are seeying a retest of the breakout wall which is holding for now with a small triangle that looks like a potential continuation down flag. false breaks may come before the real move...careful pippin all

Edit: woot..25 pips on that one....now a retest of the breakout wall of the bear flag may provide another short entry..lets see

1Hr Chart
I see downward trend.
P/A support/resistance level at 1.2880. If it breaks through , price may be headed 1.2800. If not, we'll see a bounce off of the 1.2880 and a continue upward trend.
