That was a nice 50ish pip downside move. Great for the scalpers here. But again, most volume is at the lows, not the highs. And, imho, that is the real story here...... then again, I have been wrong many times before with predictions.

i wanted to point something out when it comes to rate cuts. we all know the ecb plans to cut rates later tonight and that is what is expected. we have seen this with the euro weakness this whole week. after rate decision is announced though..it is imperative to be aware that it is not the actual rate cut that will move the markets. It is the statement presented which indicates whether they plan further rate cuts in the future or to put things on pause. a dovish attitude will push eur/usd even more down obviously but if they say thats it for now(no more rate cuts planned any time soon)...we may see a bull run...careful all...this is going to be one dangerous night to trade..same applies for the pound

Doblece, thank you for adding the extra two levels to SweetSpots defaulted to 33 and 66, when you improved it to work with 5-Point platforms.

I have been observing EU and EJ on the 5 chart bouncing on the "66" level. EJ just broke down thru it to the half number, but that doesn't invalidate the significance of your two added levels.

Ok, ok, ok, Psiholog...blah, blah, blah. And "be careful"? Aw, c'mon now. We see the heavy volume that comes in each time they manipulate it down for a better price as they increase long positions..... So, in conclusion, the Big Boy manipulators have everything well in hand. They already know which way they are going to (hint) pump it once the "talking heads" have played their part on the stage.....

(heh, heh....)

Edit: The way they are working it down, any rate cut and "talking head" fumbles will already be built in. The manipulators are set to let the retailers go short out of the gate on "bad news" as they themselves take the long side of those positions.....just before RAMMING IT NORTH! Just an opinion.

Check this out, got the Double Top with the Lower High, then we get yet another Inside Bar for continuation. I love it when a plan comes together.

EU 4hr chart has BB pinch now.... PA has bounced off the weekly fibo S1 level (red arrow). And PA pattern may well be on its way to higher highs and higher lows, especially if it breaks the daily fibo R2 level (red arrow). That is what I am looking for...

Or, a head fake to the downside, sucking retailers into shorts, while the manipulators of the head fake take opposite long side positions .....which is more consistent with the high volumes at the lows and the low volumes at the highs, which has been the case since the open of yesterdays session.

Just an opinion, but this really looks like a con job, soon to go north. But then I have been wrong mucho before.

Some additional observations from the 4hr chart......

A Double Bottom broke up and PA then retraced to "W" mid-point, and has lingered since. The retrace to that level is quite common. And we understand the reason for the ranging/consolidation currently. Certainly, the BB pinch breakout could go either way, but with this "W" type breakout and mid-point retrace, it is also common that the PA go north subsequently......we will see.

Just got to follow the signs in the road. We are now attempting to break the 4 Hr UTL. And have arrived at yesterdays bottom.

Ok guys, we may test the underside of this 4 Hr DTL. It's not rocket science, Guys, here is how I attacked this trade for those who want to know.
First, we know the rate decision is coming out at 7:45 and we know they expect a bad number, so you suspect down move. Ok, now you see the signs. 1) The Double Top with the lower high. 2) The break and test of the Daily Pivot and DTL. 3) The Inside bar to confirm continuation. The result is one nice trade/

Good morning all,

Nearly made T2 yesterday, better then expected bullish break out
Hope you all enjoyed the ride down over night...I know I did...

Once again careful trading in European session.
Closed my short @1.2555 just now before hitting S2 @1.247

This can jump up like a stretched string.....

Dax opens very strong, Oil and Gold not sinking a lot

IMO we see a retrace before the rate cut decision later this PM

I'm on the sideline for the moment, to risky to enter, will update when I see a better possibility.

As always...Just my 2 cents...

If we break 1.2562 then the next longer term target would be the bottom of that Daily Triangle at 1.2458.
