never did a side by side comparison. but i believe the other one doesnt check for a price flip.

hmm.. u said that the "bold" 9 is a perfect signal. But I found a bit confused which 9 is for a buy or sell. I can see that "red" 9 sometimes incidate a buy and sometimes it can be a sell. How can u read it?

thanks for your work and sharing your version of TD Seq. indicator with us.
Reading the first TD book i came across his notes about further qualification of the setup called "intersection" (pages 149 to 151). I think it would be a useful feature for the indicator to mark on the chart once intersection is satisfied. And could it be possible to draw horizontal lines for stop and target levels ? I saw it on Bloomberg.

It might just be the indicator not working right. And I don't mean perfect. I mean perfected, when it follows certain rules, it should be in te PDF's somewhere.

How would these level lines be calculated? And could u elaborate on intersection, I'm not to familiar with DeMark's work, I just wrote an indicator based on the rules he gave.

Intersection was related to runaway stages of a stock, i.e. extreme downtrend in the case of company maybe going out of business or extreme uptrend a company being taken over. For all other times TD looked for intersection (short term rest period with overlaping bars). It required setup bar 8 or any subsequent bar to trade into range of 3 or more bars before.

From page 126 DeMark on Daytrading Options:-

"It is applied only to individual stocks, not indices, financial futures, commodities, and currencies since these markets cannot be bought out or go bankrupt".

I may be able to post charts later today with the TD Sequential indicator I have. Been betty betty bitty.

I sure hope they are legible. At 600x600 with Snagit. Don't what other way besides Zip maybe how else to upload.

My indicator missed the third box from the left on the 15min chart. Dunno why, I'll just assume our data is slightly different. Other than that, my indicator caught all the other ones that urs did. Since thats been verified, I'll start working on the countdown. Any maybe draw in boxes like urs does.

Have been following this thread & find it most interesting. Is there
a TD Sequential Indicator for MT 4 that is performing correctly? If
so, would someone post their version? I have noticed several on this
thread have already been posted, but which one would be the best?
Thanks for any help in downloading the indicator & learning how to
use it. Thanks for all those that have post on this thread.

Put back the coundown. Everything seems to work on my charts. Added the pefected 13 series rules as well. Countdown only gets interrupted if a flip to the opposite side occurs. Dunno if that's supposed to be ignored tho. I see it is ignored on the other indicators here on this thread. Post problems, bugs, gripes, etc...

Question!
Anyone thought of putting the Demark indicator in a separate window instead of the main window?(I know Demark put it on the chart)
Lets say, you place the value over the zero line if its over the candle and below if below the candle.
I have this idea because i like to keep my chart as clean as possible.

Also, in the seperate indicator you can replace with color dot, etc...
Ex: White dot,but the last 3 its blue/green...

I'm just shooting the idea...

An Absolute Prerequisite

The day prior to the first day of a nine consecutive set up sequence must:

for a buy signal have a close higher than or equal to the close four days earlier,

for a sell signal have a close lower than or equal to the close four days earlier.

Hi,

When using demark_trend_new, can anyone please explain what it means, when an arrow has a cross superimposed on top of it? I have this appearing on my 4h GBP/USD chart from Friday.

Perhaps someone with some programming expertise would have a look at this indicator and detect the coding problem, correct it and repost a working version.....

I think you will find this one to be quite impressive except that there is a minor syntax error

I didnt write the indicator, I was hoping someone would fix that error and repost it. but so far no one has reposted it.....

Perhaps you have corrected the error..... and would repost the corrected indicator
