I agree...it's not really scalping. The method seems to keep you out when prices are ranging and help you to catch the move. I watch 10 pairs but most of my trading is with EU, UG, GJ and EJ. Paring back as I think there is plenty of action with these 4 to keep me busy. I'm currently in a 350+pip trade on GJ and 175+ pip trades on each of GU and EJ. EU is positive as well. That's not scalping. And this is after closing a few hundred pips earlier. It's just been a spectacular morning. I encourage people to trade more than just EU.

For me this is the most difficult part of the system; there are many more signals but which are good and which are false.

Today was an exceptional day. Nice strong trends. I find this system good for confirming entry into trades. The cci combo and rsi are nice additions to my other indicators. It would be interesting to run this set up on a 5 min or 15 min chart. Just eyeballing it I think you could make a lot more pips.

u don't need all these cci, rsi , heiken, squeeze ,
just the cross of ema 34 and ema 170 , much much less whipsaws

I do see what you are referring to. I would have taken the earlier trades had I been sitting in front of the computer. I'm trading while at work....not a good situation, I must admit. If I would have been stopped on the first trades would have still taken the next trades. I'll do a more detailed post later if I have the time.

That's my main problem. I think stoploss should be big enough. Then entry on the first signals is not a problem.

At the other hand: I don't like entry when price is flat (price and HA candles are drawn through eachother). But if one makes that a rule, that would meean your entry would have been later (below the low of the small horizonatl band)

I'm feeling quite generous today and I had a great day of trading. So here is my take on how to trade the standard FXPrime setup and to address the question in post 2169.

Trade 1 - I would take because CCI34 came from well above +100 and the pair did not have enough strength to create a new trend. Stop would have been just above recent high (about 30 pips) but I would have closed before it got there. Once up 10 pips I would have moved stop to breakeven.
Trade 2 - would not have taken because CCI34 did not go above +100 - not even close, and yes you will miss some moves because of this. I have a hard time following this rule.
Trade 3 - CCI34 close on the +100, but a few seconds into the next candle it would have been obvious that the candle was going to be an up candle. I like to enter sells on down candle. Might have passed and it looks like HA candles are just turning red on M1, so it's a bit early.

Edit - on closer inspection of the charts...trades 2 and 3 would not be trades as 1M HA candles were blue.

Trade 4 - I'd have taken. Would have moved stop to breakeven at 10 pips and have been stopped out.
Trade 5 - this one I took and it was like 5 minutes after I opened metatrader (lucky)... CCI34 came down from the +100...just barely touched it if at all. Not sure if I took the trade at that candle or waited a few. I did move stop to breakeven at +10 pips and never looked back.

I think the CCI34 reaching either the +100 or -100 should be in the rules. It is in mine.

Some of this is feel for what the currency is doing and watching what EU, GJ, EJ and EG were doing at this time. I did have a sell bias today from other factors.

I would like to see other discuss why they pass on a given trade...with a pic to illustrate.

When I open the MetaQuote Language Editor from Opions, and make the changes, it gives me the message : access denied when I try to compile the changes. Am I missing something? Can you help?
