Actually, I am no longer bearish on GJ. Since the US went off the gold standard, and countries depegged from the dollar, currency fluctuations have been the result of individual countries booms and busts, which are matched by the strength or weakness of their currencies.

Over the past year we have seen the collapse of the dollar. Now over the past few months, we have seen the apparent rebirth of the dollar. However, in actuality, what we have seen is the destruction of every other currency (except the yen of course), as they sink down to the level of the dollar.

At this point, I don't expect to see any major shifts in currency ratios moving forward. Instead, I expect to see lots of erratic movements and a system which becomes more and more disfunctional as we approach the complete collapse of the global fiat currency system. Based upon the speed at which things have been moving, I expect that collapse to occur much faster than anyone could possibly expect.

I will probably keep trading for fun, but I believe that I have lost my crystal ball for predicting the future movements of currencies. I may just cash out and invest in bullets.

I think it did .....

luckily i was short right off 160 and thought that I was doing well in asain session with 600 in the bank ...lol ..... closed trade before bed as I always sleep better with no trades open.

I played the upside of the market Friday playing the dips on the 5 min charts for 100 - 200 pips per time and racked up another several hundred pips in gu and gj ... as both charts were in strong up trends on the 15 min .

We are all encouraged to apply money management to our trades, but occasionally in the heat of the moment that is easier said than done.

So, we have to impose discipline on ourselves, I am therefore posting this money management script with screenshots and commentary below, particularly for the guy that lost $13,000 in the market last week.

The code is self expanatory, but the most important thing to remember is that this code calculates your lot size based on:

A) percentage risk which you input (default 2%)
B) Stop loss size. This may be either:
(i) A pip amount (default is 30 pips)
(ii) A specific price.

The script is placed in the /experts/scripts/ folder. There are 2 scripts one for longs and one for shorts.

So instead of clicking on [NEW ORDER] on the menu, you double click(or drag and drop) the script, and the screenshots below show the process.

You can use the MT editor to modify default stop loss and default risk (2%) to suit your profile, and in order not to have to change any of the settings when you want to make an order quickly. (Notice I have a 30 pip and a 50 pip setting)



The slippage has been placed at 4 pips, which means price cannot deviate by more than that amount (otherwise you would get a requote).

if 151. area hold on gj .... and note the declining volume coming into this area ..... we are going to see downside of 138 , but more liekly 100 % fib extension to 130 .

wow.. I had this trendline since march and look... to the pip... sometimes is good to leave trendlines for months on your charts

Nice chart emda, adds weight to the theory we're going to see a rally early next week, the daily pin is well positioned and nicely sized against the downtrend.

hey there big guy, how's the weekend? i personally love to go to sleep without thinking that i'm going to miss out on action. i hope u didn't miss all the action friday.


geez who thought we'll have a 2000 pip drop in 1 day (8 hours actually) after a 2 day 2000 pip drop. just insane. i personally didn't expect things to go down that fast without a retracement, i'm sure it was a surprise to all. and that 1100 pip pullback which i don't even call it a retracement. out of words.

this is wild, no intraday or daily technicals would work, u need to look at the weekly chart or above to figure out a bottom, but i gave up on that. i have a couple of charts that i will post later. obaidah has posted some interesting stuff though. it's the weekend, i'll enjoy things around before coming back to work (forex)

Hi

i had a dream that geppy was on 0 (zero)

My fridays shorts was sucks, fridays are tricky lately.
This is what i see now.

261.8% target has been hit,momentums divergence and stoch gone down so we should see downmove soon
Hard to say whether will be new low or only correction of this wave up.
StochRSI 3H shows small uptrend is coming.

Posibly drop to 145 then up to 3H EMA 34
I will follow the breakout as usual
