HOLY S--T. What the heck is going on?? I short and got my 40 pips this morning and was all happy, happy as I can be cause I thought Friday....things will be dry as paint and was happy to hit my target. I left the house to attend my son's school mass because he received an award for being the student of the month in the 1st grade. Damn I missed all the fun. What is going on.....is the world collapsing or what? If so, I will hold on having my backyard patio pave tomorrow then
. Oh well, I guess it wasn't meant to be. God always has his plan and I hope he will give me a better ride....on Monday or Tues or Wed hopefully Dang, that's is alots of $$$ I could have pocketed at $10/pip. Damn.

That lifted my spirits a little (even my 1000 pip gain today didn't do that).

This is still a yen driven market imo, as I've been saying all week, and I expect next week to be more of the same until folks are at least partially convinced of stability... that could be a while. whatever is connected to yen will feel the effect one way or the other imo. That's the philosophy I've been trading this last week anyway...

Hey Jay, me too, but nothing bigger than 10 to 20% of original order size depending on where the entries were, and all stops and TP's removed. After this week, I can afford to experiment. My strong suspicion is that by next week, many of us will be looking for new borkers tho, and where we gonna go??
I'm getting real doubtful of the end of session shenanigans they'll be playing with us, starting with the spreads a few minutes ago going thru the roof on ibfx, to the platform freezes and related tricks. Closing down trades at best price I can get right now except for the sacrifices to be offered on the altar Sunday PM...
I bet they invoke every word of fine print on the account agreements when it comes time to reopen next week as well. Gonna be some hard lessons learned this weekend I'm afraid. Sunday evening will be to late to read them for the first time...
How safe are brokers in all this? I guess we will only know if and when some of them go south.
