When is the new release coming out?
Cannot wait for monthly & weekly PP tool so I can have all PP on one chart.

Also I would like to see sundays bars to included with fridays bars to calculate mondays daily PP.

This would be great1 thx.

Have been pumping the new release to my students and would like an update please & thx.

I recently learned that there is what is called a "Fibonacci Expansion" feature on some chart platforms. I would like to see this feature included in the next version of Accucharts.
Fibonacci Expansions will be available in 8.0 - planned for Q1/2009

Why do AccuCharts lose connection so often ?

Today it's been gone all day and technical support at FXSOL said they were trying to solve the issue about 6 hours ago.

It is a recurring problem unfortunately, hope it gets sorted out once and for all because not being able to trade once or twice a month is not a nice thing. Also when connection gets restored a lot of times there is data missing, this throws off all indicators and S&R levels.

You can use the ASK charts instead of the BID. Usually they are working when the other isn't. FWIW

Yeah, I tried that a while back, worked ok but does not solve the problem.

Today is another down day for AccuCharts, somehow I think this is not good for FXSOL.

Wackucharts is probably my biggest complaint with Fxsol. Consequently, most of the time I just use metatrader for my charting and the only thing I don't like about that is that I was just getting into using wackuchart's pivot points and meta doesn't have any.

I called them three years ago and they said they were expanding the time lines, never happened. But I see there are pivots now and they seem to work fine. I never had problems with the connection dropping but there are serious glitches in the charts. Every time I tell someone about it on chat or tele they simply redirect me to the technical support email rather than taking the note and passing it along themselves. Probably my biggest grief with them has been customer support and inaccurate predictions regarding their product. And the small time frames.

For accuratly positioning any line or drawing tool on an Open, High, Low or Close value you can use the keyboard by just pressing the O, H, L or C key either before starting dragging (this will start the drawing) or also when dragging/moving the mouse after you started drawing (this will end the drawing). Using this, everything will be perfectly positioned (and it's faster too).

Do you know how long Accuchats need to have weekly, monthly pivot points? I heard very offten that it will be in new release ...New release never happend and AC doesnt wantto make it before famous "new release". Is it really so complicated to make weekly/monthly PP on same way was done for daily? I am not programmer and just curious ....

I remember now. I think the seeming disparity between FXSOL and Accucharts is because they white label the charting package from Teletrader, a German company if I'm not mistaken. Could be why every time I bring up the charting package to the support people at FXSOL they act like they never heard of it and brush it off to an email rather than dealing with it personally.

It's around that time, isn't it?
as it often happens, what was planned in Q1 will be released in Q2... but it will be an absolutly feature rich release!
I hope FxSolutions fixes this problem with the sloooooow reloading (sometimes a full blown freeze) of charts at times. I don't expect perfection, but it happens often enough where it is an annoyance.

someone asked James Chan for more historical data. That was 2 years ago and nothing has changed yet.
Will it be in next upgrade ? Any chance to ever have more than 1 year only of historical data ?

FXSOL'S historical data goes back to January 2003. To see more data, go to Format > Chart > Time Region. Enter a value large enough iin the records window to display data from January 2003. The smaller the timeframe the higher the value has to be. Setting the value to at least 2200 on a Daily chart should display the mentioned data.
