My feelings are if you have a stop moved to break even or you have funded your stop by taking a portion of your trade off the table then the trade is no longer at risk and you can open an additional position.

I will wait until next week to post my account statement. I finished this week up 3.5%. Small week but I am ok with it. Next week the competition at fxsolutions starts. That is when I will unleash "The Beast!" LOL! Insert evil laugh..... muhahahahahah!

Actually, the kids will be back in school next week and instead of going and registering kids, going to open houses, school shopping, etc etc I can focus on forex.

I appreciate everyone's participation. It is fun to have a competition to help push us to improve.
15% up on one account. (the trade is still open)

Fare enough. If I can find some time, I'll modify my EA to capitalize on the rule if/when possible .
ok, multi trade EA is up and active. At no point will it risk more then what's allowed.
Should be interesting to see how it performs. Back tests are very promising.

How's it going guys? I'm back and ready to rock for this week. I just placed a short order on the aud/nzd and will be holding for a few days. Hopefully I have a possibility to close it up before the end of the week to play a little catch up! lol

Here is why I think I'd never be able to compete with you guys. Most of you trade multiple currency pairs and I just trade one pair EURUSD. If I find the setup I'm looking for, I'll pull the trigger else I'll stay on the side lines. I don't even bother about looking at other pairs .

How do you guys monitor multiple pairs?

Hey Saaedb, The only way I'm able to monitor multiple pairs is by trading on the higher timeframes. If I traded on the hourly and lower, it would just wear me out before too long.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I find it to be fairly easy to look at them if I'm trading on the daily as I have a few hours, at least, to check them out.

If it's not broke, don't fix it though. Use what works for you my man.

Slow start back into it for me. This market's been nuts and I'm still trying to adjust to it.

This tight ranging market on the EURUSD is no good for the bot :-/. Hopefully when the market does decide to move and the bot is smart enough to catch it. It will make a fortune . Keeping my fingers crossed.

Should've put it on the GBP/JPY. That one's been all over the place this week. It's volatile to begin with, I know, but this week has been something else.

GBPJPY is a scary pair to trade. Plus, as I mentioned earlier, I only trade one pair. And the EA I'm running works best with EURUSD. It might do well with USDCHF, never tried it.
My closed profit is $1,955 and my open positive float is $1,090. This is on a 10K account.
If I close my open trades my account will be up by 31%. There is still a week left for the month. And I could lose it all. Will write an update at the end of the month.

19.72% increase on one account and 7.84% on the other at the end of the month.
where are the other results?

BTW, i am not crazy, there was 2 thread, right? About the challenge. They were merged? One was deleted?
I don't know.
I'm still running my EA.

One account is up by 40+% and the other is -1%.

Lets see how they end up at the end of this month.

Finally going to step in at the beginning of next week for the competition. I got back from vacation a few days ago which was fantastic.

I'm going to make a solid two rounds of it. One for my normal longer term price action trades, and one for big dog 7-9am open trades.
