I have a long foward Sep 08 spread bet on EUR USD... LONG at 1.4678.. I have moved up the stop to 1.4701 it currently sitting at 1.4761... so do I either move my stop again... and risk getting a stop overnight or ... let it run... hmmmm what to do ... I would think of leaving it .. but as so many times has happend in the past it gets stopped ... mind you whats the worry its in profit ...

Watch 48-4810, utl and today's r2. Looks like it's gonna hold, so if it does eventually in the next couple of hours it's probably better to take what you can get. Just my opinion of course, had been wrong a lot today..

please the level of lossing is becoming much this day how do i over come it the euro/usd as being were i trade but right now i am confused i have lost 10,500 dollar now were do i go please i want you guys out there to help me with your strategies please

This is why you should always set a Stop Loss... and have a good money management in place.

There's no quick solution I'm afraid.

Forex is hard work, takes time and dedication and potentially years to learn.

Read read and read, then test, test and test. Have you looked over at the "Trading Systems" section on this forum?

Also, what strategy were you using that caused you to lose $10k? What % risk per trade were you taking?

Unless you are trading with an account balance of $300K ( 3.5% risk = $10,500 - and that's still too much risk ), you are not employing proper money management rules. STOP trading. Go back and re-evaluate/re-write your trading plan and include and comprehensive money management strategy which only risk's 1-3% of your trading capital on any one trade. Next, demo trade that NEW plan and examine the results of each trade. Only after these steps should you be trading live.

Seems the forum is a little interesting today....I just went short on eu after seeing the double top on the 15 min chart....I think we might likely see a up trend tomorrow and thursday....looking forward to good news too on eur
