These autoclick softwares always respect what they promised. The question is: do you think that it will work in the long run? Wich broker are you using (or wich type of broker)? What's your order size? My advice is that if it's your main strategy you should search actively for another one.
btw it's exact that dustin soft is feeded by only one source so that's why he's sometime slowlier than some other autoclick softs but I think that his source is bloomberg and that's the best source in my opinion.

There were about 2-3 more trades tha the software did recommend entry that I was unable to be at my computer for. I watched the live video of those trades (and he records every trade for you to watch back) and they made anywhere from 8-30 pips, as well.

Here are my personal results from Dec 1, 2006 through Jan 31, 2007:

trade 1: 1 pip (I think I was pretty nervous on this one, being new)
trade 2: 28 pips
trade 3: 40 pips
trade 4: 4 pips
trade 5: 27 pips
trade 6: 11 pips
trade 7: 8 pips

Overall, Dustin delivers exactly what he promises. He advises entry and exit points, based on technical support and resistance analysis. He warns about conflicting data (and his newest version of the software gives an audible call with a voice saying "CONFLICTING DATA" while you are in the middle of the trade so that you can decide to exit).

He also advises everyone to keep their finger on the on/off button for the autoclick function. If you see the price jump before the release (leaked information, possibly), you are supposed to turn off your autoclick so that you don't get in too late. This is EXACTLY what happned this morning with the ISM Manufacturing news release. I saw the price jump so I turned off my autoclick. If I had not done that I would have lost 2-7 pips (which was the report from most people who didn't turn it off).
I signed up with Dustin on a two-week trial commencing mid-December, and used his service for six weeks. I used his RSS autoclick software and IFX and Markets and EFX as brokers. During this period I did not make a single pip. After Dustin's Bloomberg service was terminated due to an altercation (he did not hesitate to disclose this to his members and used it has advertising material. The reason for being cut-off, he said, was that institutional traders were becoming afraid of decreased liquidity due to his successful strategy and they had their contacts in Bloomberg pull the plug).
His new data feed was slower than Bloomberg and by the time his signals reached my computer (average 150ms) the spike was well underway and I was either requoted every time or, with the variable-spread broker, I was filled at the end of the spike.
I am not saying that autoclick software doesn't work. But it did not work for me and I suspect, as these vendor's increasing number of clients battle each for positions, they'll become even less effective.

Thanks for your post jswin, this is the kind of info I was looking for.

We saw him handle the nfp last week and he decided not to enter, although I didn't know he wasn't using bloomberg anymore.

I will give it another week or so and see how it plays out and I will report my progress here.

My guess was that the one click trading with ifx would be the best way to approach it - but I am very new to this and there are probably people who know better here.

Anybody trading 5.30EST AUD Interest statement? What would be the best cross to trade for this number? AUD/USD AUD/JPY or AUD/NZD?
Anybody going to short AUD/USD just minutes before News ?

Aud/NZD would be the best. It has the best moves but be aware of the spread increase. However if for some reason they raise or lower rates unexpectedly it wouldn't matter if you had to pay 50 pip spread cause it would probably move close to 200 pips!

Hi iluminatus, I would to ask you about the way u trade the news. My broker is IBFX, I believe they are a safe broker because are register with NFA.

So I would like to ask you about the script u post on the forum. I know u use the maxey´s excel file for set target and stop loss, correct me if I am wrong.

So my question comes when I see the script´s code and I see that u two doubles inputs:

double Lots = x;
double Lots2 = x;
double TakeProfit = x;
double TakeProfit2 = x;

Why have a "lots 2" and a "Takeprofit2"?

Newstraders,

Last month, cable moved 40 pips on this announcement. There was a gap and minor whipsaw so be careful. See chart attached. Also moved 55 pips in December (no chart).

This is the last Inflation news out of Australia:

Inflation is down. But according to FF's analyst, AU needs to keep inflation below 2.0%; thus far, the anuallized inflation as shown above is 2.5% (even the core cpi data is higher).

Last August, consensus was a rate hike and indeed there was a hike. Initial reaction was AUD negative before climbing up. Dangerous to straddle eh? Today, consensus is a stay in rate. Should there be any up/down surprise, it will move AUD violently in one direction; but dont expect more than 75 pips - dont be greedy.

BTW. The reason for the huge Inflation in Australia is Banana. Last year circa Mar/Apr, there was a big storm that blew out most of their Banana plantation. With that, a shortage of the fruit, sending banana price upward. They had to import or was banned from importing it - i forgot the full detail. Banana prices has moved down since; fuel cost has moved down also (as oil dropped from 70s to 50s).

I havent heard much news on the aud interest rate statement, so im going to guess that the rates will remain unchanged. Does anyone agree with me?

Slow-mover as far as news announcements go but the Non-farm Productivity q/q report is due out at 13:30 GMT or 8:30 am est today. Last issued in December, cable moved long 20 pips over a 10 minute period, then retraced approx 40 pips over the next 30 minutes. Smooth, no whipsaws. Chart attached. Past results are no guarantee of future performance.

If FF's forecast is correct, expect cable to go short then retrace long.

Anybody planing to trade GB- trade balance at 4.30 EST ?. Projected is -7B and last month was -7.2B .Since GBP was strong last month and exports maybe down and could trade balance come more than -7.2 or around -7.5?
Is it better to trade GBP/USD or EURO/GBP , as EURO getting stronger bigger move can come from EURO/GBP?
Insight and advice greatly appreciated
