IBs all over the places. Above and below the Opens.

I may add another long trade to the Euro if we get a break of the top of the new IB. Or take the short. The trade risk on the 1st trade has already been captured. let's see what happens.

I'm keeping the bottom of the 1st IB.

Just finished reading through both threads. Some very nice information to be had. I will be watching the trades develop over the next week or so. The only issue that i have found for myself would be dealing with TP. From what i understand once my trade reaches 1:1 i close half my position and leave my stop intact. This however begs the question of how i should manage taking profit after that. So i will have to follow some trades, as well as this thread before i decide on anything.

I was just wondering why, in this chart, you have changed to using the 04:00 GMT candle as your opening? In many of your previous chart postings, you had used the 05:00 GMT candle, which would correctly correspond to the 00:00 CST opening that Peter outlined.

Out of curiosity, why the change?

I'm still playing around with Opens for the day. Mainly with the Yen pairs. I like the 0500GMT for the Euro and Pound. Even though the IB occured at 0400 it is still playable as long as you use it with the 0500 open.

IMHO Peter has it curve fitted a lot tighter than we are able to from the info provided. He did as much as say so and I believe his way was to leave hints here and there (all over the place really).

Whilst it would be fair to criticise any posts that look to change his method, or those that ask questions without reading the thread (twice), I think it healthy to pursue these hints.

Speaking of which has anyone looked at Peter's profile.

I thought because price went above the high of the inside bar it would count it out, and would only still be valid if it made an inside bar again.

I think bogus want to know if, now that the price has exceeded the upper limit of the IB, before price broke below the lower limit of the IB, does that now invalidate the sell order on the USD/JPY?

I don't think it does. I don't know if Peter addressed that specifically, but I do seem to remember from some of his chart posts, that there were trades he took, either long or short, where the opposite side of the IB was exceeded before the pending order on the other side was triggered.

Absolutely not. This is what keeps you out of bad trades. The IB is still valid.
