If you think support @1.9720 might hold, go Long near thats the tip of the day


Nearer you can get the tighter your stop can be and the better your risk / reward ratio

You may have a chance to get in there. I think a range maybe forming...if its does it may be between 1.9714 - 1.9755.

Based on past trends it will evenuallty settle somewhere in between the range...5min shows this nicely.

Doubt it sadly, be nice to get some good easy ranging in, 3 and 6hour sma's @ 1.9737 doubt we'll break below, so I suspect the range will be 37 - 55 area not enough

Sadly thats holding true, that last 30pip+ up move was more than I expected though, I expected another dip well lower.

Pair has been hanging around the 23.6% fib level about halfway thru the 4 hr triangle some of us are watching. It could go either way so I have my eye on the 5 minute chart looking for a bounce or signal to which way it will go. So far my techs are saying it will finish the move down since it is below the 89 SMA and the daily pivoy, but it MAY want to come back to the 61% Level.

Yeah me too, i think the Nonfarm Employment Change and Unemployment Rate are going to have a big say in how high come 13:30 (London time). Stay tuned folks...

Nice recovery move, haven't seen 1 of these in ages, recently it's been remaining flat then going lower the next day, this is where I used to make my money to.

Hmmm Margin Call or Double the account time or Wuss it totally ofcourse

Considers maxing the account out, 0.5lots max loss £50 before Margin call closes all positions, £250P/£50R damn nice risk to reward ratio!!

Looking like a good setup to short all the way down to my intraday levels the only problem is that its to early for my taste...

DJ4X, don't know if the info below helps re prices, there is still demand in the market but no loans. not sure about the correlation of these facts in terms of prices, but consensus would appear to be for further downward pressure. Anything better than that will help cable.

'LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Reservations of new build houses and flats in the UK have fallen by two-thirds in the spring selling season, The Guardian reported citing confidential figures from the Home Builders Federation.

Major housebuilders are reporting that net reservations have been running at 60-65 percent down year-on-year for the last two weeks, the newspaper said.

Companies are pinning the blame for the downturn on the lack of mortgage in the credit crunch, The Guardian said.

A spokesman for the Home Builders Federation declined to comment to the newspaper on the figures, but he acknowledged that homebuyers were struggling to get finance.'
