Hi,

need a bit of guidance here...am trying to use an EA...however though I presume it is intialized (reading the alerts) it did not trigger...all I can see is that there is a smiley on the top right hand corner of the screen that is unhappy....does that mean that it's not running...needs attention, more inputs or what?

Smiley face means EA is operating.
Frown means it is not working. Did you click on EA Button on the upper toolbar?

First go to Tools and then Options and then ExpertAdvisors and then Allow Live Trading and then OK

Then in the Common tab of the EA that comes up when you click on the frown face, select Live Trading

Now you should have a smiley face.
