Well, I am kind of disappointed because even though I closed my long position with a profit of 100 pips, it is nothing compared to the fact that I did not sleep too much (I live in Miami) during London's session to check on the status of my open trade, AND at one point I was +ve 175 pips.
I really did not expect such a big drop like the one we had a few hours ago. I was convinced it was going to keep those levels until the FED's decision.
Oh well, like my girlfirend said, be greatful of the 100 pips you made and stop crying over something that can't be changed....
I love how she always puts everything into prespective
But boy, I am soo sleepy here at workCan't wait to go home....

Hey Mr. Future. Trading isn't about making every single last pip. Yes, it would be nice, but your going to find a lot of times that you would try to hang on thinking that it will move further up or down only to be disappointed. Consistent profits are what it's all about, to me anyways.

she sounds great - those girls take some finding - hang on to her whether you make money or not...hang in there and get all the dosh back soon
Although up until I was still using a DEMO acct she kept referring to my trading as "NINTENDO," because she said I spent way too much time celebrating on earnings that did not exist.
She gave me the little push to go ahead and open a small live acct and I am glad she did. I was able to turn $250 into $600 after 1 month and a half, and the best part is that I did that using very low risk and leverage. Most importantly, I obtained that result after 20 or something trades, which indicates that it did not happen as a result of a few lucky trades. It took time but you know what, it proves that my system is working and best part of it, I trade with confidence, in the sense that I do not fear a loss because I know it won't affect the account that much.
As long as you can limit your risk, you will survive
After 1 year of studying this beast called Forex, I finally feel confident with it

lol, i am out with 2 pips.enough to buy a coke while watch the fed announcement.
my nerves has gone up, something smells weird. also we had 2 great job reports last week which could add some important mix fed does not do anything after all. and thats can be pretty pretty bad for pound.
We are playing with 2 very extreme an risky scenarios:
No cut at all, people will be so pissed this thing could drop like crazy.
A big cut of 50 pts, and it would mean the FED knows more than we thought we knew and this thing could go to the moon.
Considering that we have no idea what the outcome will be, why risk ? Unless you play with Forex Options I guess.....boy I really gotta learn those

Well, they did what was expected, so be prepared for more confusion on where this thing is heading now...it is a war between those who think "a cut is a cut" and those who think "but it was expected..."
