you might be right but to be on same page it helps to have same data otherwise we have conflicts where one says theres no signal and another says there is you know what i mean
i didnt want to mention this trade i am in with the eurjpy there was a signal to long but its pretty risky so i didnt want anyone taking unnecessary risks
i start to watch the stoc and rsi while i am in trade usually i am out before that stuff happens i look to grab 30-50 a day also i might not take a signal if stoc crosses up for a buy like 85/84 or sell at14/15

right. so on the gbp/usd daily chart right now, the stochs are at 88 and starting to turn down. do we stay out of long signals that we get on the 1 hour or is it still okay to take them?
Are you not using the MT4 platform? Alpari are a UK based mob aren't they.
Right I've had another look at the indicators and there is a stoch custom indicator which does have just the basic settings. So i'm using that now.
Here's a picture of my gu 1hr from yesterday with the RSI 13 above 50. I guess diff data suppliers will show diff results in the charts

Hey age13, sorry the late reply, looks like Harold has explained to you about the time difference issue. Alpari does use MT4 platform and I was referring to the fact that the Stoch you used earlier could be Stoch Oscillator.
i dont have stoc on daily as been 88 the daily close had them at 78 73 thats fine and they are angled up nicley right now the stoc on the 1 hr are tuened down so when they turn up and rsi is above 50 and 5 crosses 8 on the close of that hourly candle we enter at market

thanks, croeses but i maintain i have along for NU,GU,EJ,GJ. just took 28pips off it.all my indicators on daily for NU line up perfectly, unless our charts have discrepancies. thanks all the same.
guys, AU for ysterday's daily didn't satisfy criteria cos rsi was at 49 bt it's looking good on the hour.
one must actually be disciplined to follow the rules bt since 49.47 is close to 50 and it's the thot that counts, i'll be in on the close of the hour if it still looks good(pls i trade at my own risk); what's life without risks.
well, i'm using the rsi 13 still. stupidly, i entered AU earlier without the green light on the rsi as per rules, as a result i'm now fighting to make back my -30pips. pls peeps, play safe.
