Here is a look at the Daily fib levels, watching to see is the trendlines hold up as well.

I don't remember you talking about this and I am sorry if you did and I missed it.
Do you ever faze out of a trade. On todays move I took some profit at what I perceived as hesitation around certain fib/S&R areas like 2.0750,2.0725,2.0700 and finally 2.0600.
I am looking at where I might have done anything different but can't justify a different play in my mind. I could have stayed in till I had a 1 hour candle close against me and I believe that would normally lose a bunch of pips.

Hey man, I just got back from a visit to see Mickey and his friends in Orlando and I'm trying to catch up all my fib placements I have a question for ya on the range fib. I have it from 10/12/07 8:00 to 11/09/07 1:00 because that seems to cover all the moves after that. Is my thinking on that correct or do I need to up date it some more. Thanks man and say hello to your mule for me!!!!

Me personally i dont like to scale out, Im either in or out.If i miss some by price getting past what I had for targets well thats just too bad...It will set up again for another trade is how i look at it.Today is an example price is way past what I had for targets, didnt expect to be testing Daily fibs today.

I dont have a range fib set on mine just yet it is mostly used during ranging periods, which should start to happen once we make a bounce here and cross over the 64 envelope again.
Im guessing your talking more about a Intermediate fib from the daily chart mine is from 10/22 through 11/09.
The Daily fib itself is from 9/18 Low to 11/09 High
And the Mule has kicked the bucket....LOL

Ive just always been that way,tried scaling out a couple of times and always regretted it later.
Later in the thread I may release some Indicators Ive been re-coding, I think they may help with entry's and exits for newer traders who are still unsure about which break or bounce off the fibs to take and so on .I think as of right now I can make a method out of trading fibs that anyone can follow and will actually make sense out of trading fib level breaks and bounces. Im doing alot of backtesting and now alot of forward testing and I think I only need a few more tweeks to get things in alignment so the indicators can deal better with different situations, and give matching signals to Fib level breaks.Non matching signals would be considered non trade entry's.
I looked at that NonLagMACD and its miserable, so its now gone.
Where should the intraday be drawn for today, across just yesterday or across the past 2 days, since it was one big diagonal down move? I have my official intraday drawn across the 2 days since there wasn't a retrace, but I have the shaded box positioned where the trade zone of just yesterday's range would be, so I can compare what happens. Right now price is drifting up into the zone from just yesterday but it doesn't seem to be really moving anywhere with authority, making me feel the 2 day long down move might be more significant.

I read somewhere " The fibonacci is the only non-lag indicator". I am off for the next month and a half so let me know if I can be of any help. Doing nothing but 4X and my boat, MotorH, daughters houses, my house, thanksgiving,Christmas.... damn I am tired already. Anyway I have been working on a combination of the MACD set at fast 15, Slow 26, sig 1 and the interaction of a 5ma,exp,close and 75ma,lw,low. All three put together show some promise but need some tweek some place.

I had mine drawn on just yesterdays movement, but you are correct about drawing across the entire movement down since there was no retracement until last night.If i wanted to see where we are in referrrence to the entire move all ya have to do is pull the high back and forth from the high of just yesterday back to the high of 2.1161.I had mine on just yesterdays move because i want to see if they will be respected and if price is rejected by the Fib levels of that I would keep it there, If price had blown through the levels of it I would then pull it back to encompass the entire move down.

No lag in Support and Resistance trading or Fibs, only getting them placed correctly which can be the hard part sometimes. Once i get things working correctly I will need some test Mules to help with forward testing.
Testing the Pivot of yesterdays Intraday fib now..Last nights entry was the 0400 candle and targets from the swing put price right at the pivot of yesterday so that was the target less the spread.If price can break through yesterdays Intraday fib levels it has the potential to reach the envelope for a test of resistance that can put Cable back into that stair stepping back up move again.We may first see some ranging if price reaches and breaks through the envelope.If we get a rejection there we will stay short for another day.

Glad I could help you then.
Be a little wary here the down move is still in place untill the envelope can be broken and an opening below the Intraday short fib and we go back down again.For a long position I would wait here to get back in until an opening above the Intrday Long fib occurs.There are a few news announcements this morning I think and they may help with another kick in the pants to get things moving.Short positions are good if they occur back to the Daily Pivot of 2.0519 and I would expect another bounce there as well.
