Yup, been fun these last few weeks - still trying to formulate a method as I'm working full time still. The week I was off work was much easier to manage.

No doubt I'll include shorter term trading in my overall strategy once I've got to grips with what I'm doing lol.

Hi,

Nice to see you rakin' it in off the short time frames (and they said it couldn't be done).

Would just like to ask if you apply the same methodology to your scalps as you use on your swings. Just wondering because I certainly prescribe to the notion that the lower time frames exhibit the same behaviour as the longer ones, like a fractal type thingy.(Obviously spread cost becomes prohibitive on the short time frames, aswell as the added mental pressures).

Whats your take anyhow?

OK peeps thanks for the comments - I'm not prepared to really go into my method in any detail on these smaller timeframes yet. Most is to do with price action as I do with the daily charts but there's also a lot of discretion (gut instinct) about these trades.

Today have so far closed...

GBPJPY short from 239.09 (10 pips)
GBPJPY short from 239.09 (10 pips)
GBPJPY short from 239.37 (50 pips)

So 70 pips so far (+ 747 Oct)

238.88 at 238.68 (+20)
238.70 at 238.40 (+30)
238.57 at 238.37 (+20)

Total of 121 pips

Oct total pips +888
Increase in a/c bal from Oct 1st +7.68%

GBPJPY short 238.52 closed at 238.42 (10 pips)
GBPJPY short 238.53 closed at 237.93 (60 pips)
GBPJPY short 238.36 closed at 237.86 (50 pips)
GBPJPY short 238.23 closed at 237.93 (30 pips)

So thats another 150 hehe - not a bad day today...
