The answer is in the mind my friend, the 5% of people who suceed in any business or anything in life succed because they know they can and believe they can. And all their thought and energy is focused on acomplishing their GOALS (Biggest word for achieving success is GOALS) but first you must be able to say I CAN. This is 100 times more important than the best education and the best trading plan.

GBPUSD - Current account deifict narrows to a 9.1 billion billion pound shortfall in the second quarter with help from income and service components. The services surplus hit a record 8.9 billion pounds, equivalent to 2.6% of GDP.
Final revision on second quarter GDP finds an unexpected boost for a 3.1 percent annual pace on the back of strong service and manufacturing sector activity.

Then they truely dont belive they can, Your sub consence is alot more powerful than your consence, When I started forex I truely belived I could but lost money over and over again, then I realized my sub consence was not in alignment with my consence, through meditation, visualization, and mantras I was able to align both consences and now I do this as a full time job. I'm semi-retired and I am not even 30 yet. close but not yet. I should be completly retired by 35 and then its off to go sail the world.

I think what Moe is not understanding, is the difference between a guy that believe that can make it because sees himself as a big standard, and a guy who look at his past, his own life and see this examples...

"When i had problems i never broke down on myself..." Situation X and Y...

"One of the best things i like the most is observation... discover things that are not easy to spot"

"When i'm playing something and bad luck comes around, i don't explode... i wait."

(Guys like snooker players are big examples...)

"i know i can learn everything... because... if i passed University Level Mathmatics and Statistics. If i can understand many dificult aspects of Physics and Science without being a Scientist, i believe... that is not a bunch of technical rules that will make me quit if things get bad."

"i know how to stay away from group thinking, because when i see others go wrong, i don't follow just to be one of them"

PS: I'm not saying this as "my" example. Im saying this as ALL good traders example.

This is different from "hey IF i have a problem i will smash it" But this guy never had one...

AM i right? What i mean is that... Forex is about a personality.

We know we can suceed or we know this is right for us, because our own life personality is similiar or equal to the personality we must have dealing with the markets. If we have to change it, that is the reason right there why many ppl fail. They can't...

I see.... After one post I had to read here, I definetely quit sharing my positions.

Cable didn't crack 4H 250EMA nor the trendline in the 4h. This is a good long cooking. My problem is that I can't see too much to the upside in the higher timeframes as to inspire me....

Guess I'll have to take the mall-with-the-wife as better than lousy-trade-i-got-into LOL....

Back in a few... oh yes, right, with my wife...... in several hours...

Sometimes when we share our chart the market know what we want but then market will go opposite direction

Absolulty right, If I did share this method then I would have to start my own thread like auslanco and have to answer everybodys questions and when it dosnt work out for them (95% of them) then they will acuse and blame me for their failure, and who wants that?

Cesarnc - I think our wives should go shopping together while we play fedex...

but actually i have to force myself to stay out even though I know a euro long will work for a few pips..

I mean you can but you will either die or go broke,
