These DOW people are insane

every time a figure comes out that proves the losses in their businesses are going to treble, they say oh goody goody, that means mr bernake will drop rates and allow us to finance those trebled losses at 0.25% less !

lets stick the share price up ! and up ! and up !

Dow spiked to -76 at the news. Although this retail sales open room for the cut, the first minute reaction is "recession a coming"....

You have a valid point - however i will be very careful of this move down - it started much before any bad news from UK came out - what that means is the market is just correcting - a move higher this time will be with a bang - whenever that happens - i am guessing sometime within the next 2 hours.

I still think Bernanke is not going to bend over, will keep "I'm on the wheels" attitude, market will get even more disgusted with Fed, stocks tumble, the whole apocalyptical shit...

Fed has no idea how to deal with it, not to get it even worse, Fed didn't see this one coming (even Greenspan said he himself didn't).

Bernanke is still aiming inflation, like the guy trying to kill 100 ants while a huge elephant goes by his back... Whatever, that's what he's doing, we gotta go with the flow.

october oil pushing hard at 80 dollars

2 years ago i would have called a dow short a certainty

in fact thats how i got into all this stuff - easy

oil flicks up and i click dow short - 2 minutes later - ca- ching !

i did it for months until suddenly oil doesnt matter, collapsing banks dont matter, nothing matters...only interest rates...

You watch a few months from now and the fashion will change and the dow will drop 10 points every time oil goes up 10 cents...

Greenspan was warning horror if it kept at 55 - not so long ago - now its 80 - so what ?

for now I know they dont give a hoot

Its a fashion show...and we are dedicated followers of fashion.
