Will it test the central or head for the daily?

Yes, on the daily chart.

On the lower timeframes, I've found that the true open is not always correctly accounted for. This is especially apparent on Wednesdays at 17:00 ET, when we would expect a lower open due to the 3x swap. The 1M - 1H charts will read the 16:59 ET close price as the 17:00 ET open, but the daily chart will show the correct open. This happened last week on the FX Solutions demo. The MT4 demos (FXDD, etc) had the wrong central across all timeframes 1M - daily..

WEEKLY PIVOTS
The easiest way to calculate the weekly pivots is to bring up a weekly chart….. You would use the open, the high and the low on the last week candle. You then will wait for the open on Sunday’s candle for the close and the central pivot. And the reason for using Sunday’s candle is because of the flotation of movement between Friday’s closing and Sunday’s open….. I will place the pivots on the weekly only and write them down a piece of paper to keep track…..

I also use my moving averages and a Bollinger Band set at 15 to keep track of the trend for the weeks ahead.… I also have a Slow_K set at default and in this case, it is getting close of being oversold.

One thing I forgot to mention is how the weekly central pivot is found and that is on your 15:30 ET candle on Sunday, which is the time that the market opens for the week..... and if you do not get a 15:30 candle on any of your charts then there is nothing can be done to find it.

I use Friday's closing because of the distance of pivots. Using Friday's closing will keep it safe when you are using the daily..... Just like today..... it hit the daily at 118.47 and that was then end of the up..... If I had used another closing I would had missed it.

DAILY SUNDAY PIVOTS
I will try to explain this as easy as possible…… These pivots that are calculated are done so between the hours of 17:00 (Open/Central) – 17:00 (Close)

Some brokers have different hours than others and the time table will be upset because of the opening and closing of the broker. The best way to beat this will be on determining the flux of candles between the hours your broker opens and closes.

Let’s take my broker…. On Friday they shut down at 4:30 pm ET which means there are still 30 minutes left for calculations of the pivots…... They re-open Sunday at 4:00 pm ET…. Now, there is a new candle that popped up when he open at 4:00 pm…..

Now, I have Fridays open, the high, and the low. What I am waiting on now is the close of Sunday’s new candle that open at 4:00 pm and the new one that will open at 5:00 pm (17:00 ET). I will use the closing of the candle that open at 4:00 pm for the closing and open of the 5:00 pm for the central pivot for the next 24 hours.

Let say the candle that open at 4:00 pm moves either higher or lower than Fridays candle then I will use that high or low for calculations and also for the closing of Fridays candle…..

I hope this explains how to calculate on a daily basis… This is also the technique if your broker does not have a 17:00 candle on the daily then use the 1 hour 17:00 candle to calculate.

What I mean by Fridays closing is if the closing is higher or lower than Fridays (high or low) that will also calculate for the closing on Sunday's candle at 17:00.....

MIDPOINT PIVOTS
The most heaviest midpoint takes presences over most which are the midpoints of the centrals and main pivots, such as the daily and weekly.

I think is going to 114.07 wish I need help correcting me if this is the daili pivot point. thanks in advance.

ok i see a small resistance at 113.51 or the 23.6 fibpoint..... if this holds we might see the pair head lower again...will try to a small short at 23 fib level...

concerning that forumer who has succeded in making our air spoilt. its a virtue in life to be openmined, i think dove should ignore, there are very many people learning from dove including me, its clear one bear cant beat 20 bulls not even bears

As I stated before I do agree that everyone has its own right to express views and opinions (though in polite and gentle way).

Posting charts which are Dove's property was violating some unspoken rules.If he decided to take them down and I believe that he had the reason to do this then acting against owner's will was wrong.

As I said,sure everyone can say anything about everything (if obeying the rules) but this was pure hate.

You may or may not agree what he is teaching but nobody force you to follow it - as I also wrote earlier,it is for FREE.

Why force someone,who shares his knowledge for FREE but in the same he request some privacy,to leave ?

Possible USDJPY short opportunity might be unfolding upon finding resistance off the former double bottom at 114.00 (check your 4H charts)

Geez, I didn't really expect to find this kind of drama on these forums.

Who are you to think that anyone deserves Dove's indicators but Dove? He put the work into finding his setup. While we are all here to try and learn from one another, ultimately it is up to each man/woman to decide just how much they wish to share with the community. No one is obligated to share their trading techniques at all.


This statement was just asinine. While Dove might be deeply religious and made that clear a number of times, no where did he make it apparent that he was discriminating based on religious belief or lack thereof.


Well we might have found that out if you hadn't been so blatantly disrespectful to Dove. You've now twice pissed him off and driven him away. What the hell did you think to accomplish by posting his charts after he took them down and specifically said why he was doing so? Did you think he was magically going to be alright with you (or anyone else) reposting them?

I think you owe a good many people in this thread a public apology for acting so selfishly and thinking of none but yourself. Whatever problems you had with Dove, you could have simply ignored him and not killed the opportunity everyone else was hoping to get.

Alright, to get away from the drama. Faded the gap last night and was correct. Bought in at 112.91 and TPed at 113.45 for +54.

Yeah... what's important is that those who are really into 4X trading will keep going. I'm quite sure that there was good effort going into Dove's research, and tearing it apart blatantly seems irrational... it's probably ok for someone to feel frustrated as well.. after all this market beats you up once in a while...

Back to business... gotta go make some pips..

I agree gun and jason, your comments are valid and i can't understand why kreeper wants to spoil it for others if they are wanting to follow his ideas, what gives you the right to interfer with what others might want to follow kreeper?

If your not interested in what dove has to say than don't bother to comment, or make your own thread if you think your system is superior, bagging someone isn't helpful to all here.

He said he would open his own thread, so lets see if he will so this thread can be about somebody else other than a man god.

I was interested in what he had to say obviously, and when did I say I had a superior system? Listen, if dove cared enough about you guys, he wouldn't run away like a little girl when confronted. He would rather keep you guys in the dark, like he has been from the beginning. read a book or something, and most importantly this isn't dove's thread.
