The other reason for me to support the a Daily 5 SMA retracement is.. Usually at the start of a trend reversal.. first the break out happens. Then the pair will go for a full retracemnt(1hr QQE5 will touch or cross the 50 line). Still the 1 hr QQE5 is nowhere near the 50 line. Therefor it will touch the 50 line when the price comes closer to Daily 5 SMA.

Note: these are not predictions.. Just observations.

I have 230.35 and 230.50 as areas of strong resistance, will wait for these and the News here in a few minutes.

The daily 5sma sits above 232 - which was a big support most of last week - wouldnt be suprised to see us retrace there - depends on the news really ( so why on earth am I in a trade now - DOH ! )

yess long from 229.81 (when my QQE1 crossed back upwards) My 1st target is 230.70 2nd target is 232.11 (Daily 5 sma)

Didn't like the G/J on this as much as I do the E/J, I should have been on the E/J instead, it went up as well, but less spread. LOL.

Would like to have stayed in a LONG there on G/J, but not with a news report coming out in a few.

Will watch the 30min and 1hour "Auslanco Setup" for next entry level.

Hakuna, do you take entry on the cross of candle over the 50?

Or do you wait for a retrace back to test this, then go Long?

Hi Ken...just to add to your resistance, I have the Daily Pivot at 230.45 - and also EJs DP at 156.56...and UJ has M2 at 113.56.....+10 on current price.

Also, cable has just stopped at its 300 level, so loads of resistances here, but the UK PPI in 5 mins, might give a spike if its out of line

I usually don't look that far out on the Daily, but I do have the same as you with the 5SMA at 232.00.

That would be a big retrace up to the 23.6% line, then we could see a sharp move down to the 50% at 227.39 area.

This is based on Fibo's from Low at 219.30 and High at 235.48.

We are at 229.30, the 38.2% Fibo and holding for now.

Lets see if we can stay above this support area to the 232.00.

Very nice, will add these to the charts after the news trades.

Lets see if GBP is positive or if we are going to have a quick spike down.
