Calling 1776 / 1740 / 1664 as my closest AOI. Need to see more follow through from bears before I'm ready to commit to short. That was a pretty sound rejection friday though. Expecting the battle to take place around 1776, if I trade this pair this week it'll most likely be from this level. Pic has some possible scenarios, just some price musings I'm bouncing around in my head.

it works for me, most strategies are viable when coincided with correct discipline.

Quick H4 Outlook

  1. For Monday, I will start looking for supportive pa around ~1.1757... If I see support, I will use M15 to jump in at the best time and catch a bull trend that is likely to target ~1.1780 area.. There we must see how this resistance level behaves! Normally it should be easy for bulls to break higher because we are still in bullish territory.
  2. However, if resistance acts strong and I catch bulls struggling, I will switch back to selling and expect bears to retest ~1.1757 area...
  3. But if bulls break above mentioned resistance, I would keep buying dips until bulls arrive around 1.1802. There we must see how it goes. Can't tell yet...
  4. Since this is the H4 chart, any mentioned "break above or break below" requires a H4 candle close for solid confirmation. Any "piercing-through" doesn't count as confirmation.

H4: market opened with a gap down violating previous low.. My latest post is obsolete now.

Start selling every pullback and spike towards 1.1760/70..

Geopolitical factors remain dominant for the EURUSD pair. The US-Iran conflict in the Strait of Hormuz remains a key driver, making the EURUSD pair sensitive to oil prices and global risk sentiment. As tensions rise, the USD strengthens, weakening the euro. Hopes for peace weaken the USD, supporting the euro.

Got the follow through south with the gap down, hopefully we can get up there to close it / take a short....
On a separate note I've been marking 1740 for a few weeks now and price moves through it at will in either direction haha. It's a relevant level (2025 close), but not currently it would appear. Maybe later in the year

I'm not going to advise you specifically but I do have some things for you to think about, which you may have but it's not clear on your chart. Where exactly are you planning on shorting exactly..... the gap close, previous support, some kind of nearby fib? Where will your stop loss be? What is your target? The higher timeframes are bullish, meaning that this short is automatically a lower probability. Have you squared that up in your mind?
You should be thinking of all of this and have answers to most before you pull the trigger. From what I can see on your chart, your bias aligns with mine meaning you must be on the right track hahaha. Others might step in with more specific tips for you. Good luck noob

the things need to be clarified that is according to me 1.1754 is a temporary h4 supp. and 1.1799 is a temporary d1 resistance
