Once the great President Trump has dealt with Iran, he will likely turn his attention to North Korea. If that happens, the market will likely shift toward buying the dollar as a safe-haven asset.

The USDJPY price action on the daily time frame is consolidating. On Thursday, the price action printed a bearish candlestick that rejected the 160.150 horizontal resistance (red) but on Friday the price action printed a bullish candlestick that threatened the high of Thursday’s bearish print. As a big ‘W’ shape pattern is emerging on the weekly time frame, we may still see further northward price action, perhaps to target an intra-day area of value beyond the 160.150 horizontal resistance (red).

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.
