I don't know how the market will read the report. A poor report should be very bad for the stock market and for GJ. However, the market could actually go up, since a very bad number would make it difficult for the feds to not lower rates at their next meeting.
I do believe, however, that a report that meets or slightly exceeds the forecast will cause a stock market drop.

It's just completed the 50% retracment from Friday rise. 233.60 was my profit target from Tokyo, which was also the 50 % retracement level. Still the market is ranging until 4hr QQE cross down for bullish or 1hr QQE cross up for bull.

Good Morning. First of all, thanks for all your input. I learned a lot.

May be you can come up with some strategy for scalping with your experience, and let us know. Sorry, you strategy is not scalping, but since the market is ranging, it will be helpfull for all.

I am using simply 5min chart with 5sma and GanHiLo crossing. Getting good pips. But mine is not a strategy I think.
When ever I see cross in 5sma and ganhilo, i reverse the trade, till it get crossed again. But sometimes range is too small, getting only 10 to 11 pips and the spread is 9 pips.
May be with your strategy we can get little more with some other indicator we can get reversal early.

If after the news, the US 10 yr treasuries turn positive, I will wait for a confirmation of 15 min and 30 min SI indicators cross-up to go long.

If negative, then am not sure ..should get short right away or wait for a bit retracement up then short. Need Auslanco's guidance from here

Current value of US 10 yr treasuries notes only down a bit -0.06. It is telling me that is a bit undecisive in direction.

the new support is at 233.41(1hr support).. If 1hr bar forms below that... it's free fall after that down to 230.66(4hr Support)

There is another way to get this data at Bloomberg is to type in symbol "^tnx" (no quotes). It is a several minutes delayed quote.

Bear seems to be looking better by the minute. It's just a matter of finding the right comfirming entry. Of course surprises always abound in Forex, especially GBP/JPY. However, if 235.50 maintains its high peak position here is a look at the Fib levels going short. The 23.6 is around 231.70, the 38.2 is around 229.40, and the 50% is around 227.40. I would think a bear move would take us to at least the 38.2 level. Let's see what the news does.

Rotten Dems! I'm not affiliated with any party but can you imagine the outcry if the GOP threw out a Democratic Latino AG? Sorry to get off track. Back to trading.
