I think it should since we already have MSS to protect those entries from 6am which hasn't produce 3rr yet + GU finally creating a divergence by taking out yesterday high. EU minimum target is the 3rr 6am entries or 1.1743³

For me if I don't re-enter according to my strategy I will end up missing the possible profitable trade completely. That's why I have back to back loses

i think I am the best to tell you, given just less than one month ago I was in that exact condition.

first of all: market is really confusing these days, this is the issue of highly volatile markets, you’ve got to live with it. Second of all, it’s not about losses, rather rules.
did you do everything right? Did you gamble like I used to do? Because one is normal, the other is deadly.
the best thing to do for me, was stop trading. I just observed, learned from others’ outlooks, why certain things were certain ways for example. We are blessed to have experts like Ata and many others sharing their outlooks with great precision, so you are never lost.

just last week I was in that same condition again, and it triggered me particularly this time; it wasn’t about the losses but the lesson. It clearly told me I was doing something wrong.

i have ever since discovered that my strategy didn’t have an edge, it was too discretionary, and as such I have stopped trading altogether, unless in my htf, conditions align. The best thing you can do, is stop, collect your thoughts, understand what was wrong and just learn. Keep learning every day. This is my 3rd day of rework, and I have built a strategy that accross multiple years went from -30% to a mere -7% now max drawdown, to a beautiful 2% to end the backtest.
i have plenty of optimization still to do, but this is just the start.

what this told me was: I had to do something different, not sure if you ever had that feeling that you were lacking something, but that was the exact thing that happened to me. I realized that I was doing it all wrong, it was rushed. Essentially, you need to be patient, be confident, and understand that great things require time, they can’t happen too early. My strategy worked flawlessly in low volatility markets (full december start of january it was running perfectly)

I trade exactly like you, sometimes aiming for 1:10 odds; it's absolutely crucial to have confidence in your strategy. Furthermore, I find that this type of trading requires knowing in which market conditions our strategy works best to avoid false signals (for example, I only trade economic announcements to avoid a ranging market because my strategy isn't working otherwise).

I prefer a structured plan than managing emotions 'cause it sucks to put emotions in check 100%.

My advice, study your past trades if is over 100 days of consistency trading (or over 100 trades).
- Mark out the average RR on those trades that hit TP,
- Average RR run on those trades that turn loss or breakeven after good profit,
- Average SL pips,
- Average TP pips,
Then you can have an expectancy when next you place a trade.

I'd like to give advice on this but you have to go through the emotions. Price action is something different in life, you don't see it anywhere else and your mind and emotions need a lot of time to get used to it. You have to go through the emotions. It is what it is.

The fact that your startegy is more filtered is very key to having an edge and maintaining that edge for a long time . i will consider that

I have considered to just deconstruct some key things as you said as i prepare slowly for the upcoming changes im about to make.Thanks for the advice

Look at EU. The liquidity is mostly up. I think it will rise. The only thing that will dump it is if a bomb is thrown on Iran.

I haven't traded EU in months because it is slow and near useless. The other pair spiked already and EU is just a lame sitting duck.

So you're saying we need a peace treaty in Iran just to hit our Take Profit? EURUSD really is the only pair that makes a turtle look like it’s on steroids.
