Here is my days thesis.
This might reveal much about my strategy - peak in HV and close of candle on Heikin Ashi (average price of respective candle) give me a good idea of support/resistance.
Today these levels are 1.19145 and 1.18845
Of course I would be happy if this just went up though haha

As I wrote yesterday, I was waiting either for the gap to be filled under 1.1830 or for the previous high near 1.1920 to be reached before revisiting the market and doing a fresh analysis. Well, price has now broken last year’s high and printed a new intraday and yearly high around 1.1939.
From a technical perspective, the market is currently almost irrelevant, as price action is being driven by sentiment and politics rather than structure. All I can say is that we are extremely overbought although, as we all know, that does not mean price has to fall immediately, even though under “normal” conditions it would have done so long ago. The only question I’m asking myself at this point is how much further they can push it before a major correction finally sets in.
Until that becomes clearer, I’ll stick to scalping only and avoid building larger positions until the picture turns more decisive. For that reason, I’m not spending time on detailed analysis or posting constant market updates. Good luck.

This market is so overstretched that it could dump at any moment once the big players decide it’s time. That could happen today, tomorrow, or even weeks from now.
The problem with these kinds of conditions is that once it turns, you often get extremely erratic moves of hundreds of pips, which are very hard to trade in a controlled way. That’s just my subjective view, but it’s based on painful experience. For that reason, I’m only taking very short scalps of 3–5 pips at the moment. Anything beyond that would be pure harakiri for me in this environment. Therefore it might be better to leave the market alone today. Wish you all good luck.
