1.17415 is the next resistance on Chart H4...

Well, this is my idea of what could happen today. First, in the next few hours, the price could drop back down to 1.16809. I'm going to buy at that price or slightly below, with a take profit of up to 1.16981. Even if it doesn't drop, place a manual buy order at that target, where there is liquidity. From there, at 1.17000, I will start selling. Why sell if the trend is bullish? Well, I'm not going to risk selling too much. In fact, I'm only going to make one trade with a stop loss in case the price continues to rise, but I see that the price is very high and should test the supports. My first support is at 1.16727 and the second strongest at 1.16575. If the price, instead of reaching 1.16809, goes directly to a support level, I will not sell and will only buy up to 1.17300, which is my next target. Also, if you look at the H4 chart on the right, you can see that within those supports there is an FVG that needs to be mitigated. Let's see how this plan works out. I'm still bullish, but I think it needs to take a breather before doing so, although you know that anything can happen. I will start buying at the supports.

We stretched way above Monday high, and took the prev weeks liquidity - DXY swiped old low liquidity and got a good reaction.

I dont see any particular target, other then punishing late longs, before the news came out yesterday, Euro was priced to go higher based on technicals.

I imagine something like this:

London session usually punish prev day dominant trade, which was long.

I also see cable topped, which builds the narrative.

Well, micro-purchases are already profitable, even if I reach the stop-loss. Let's see if it continues to rise to where I want it to. I have placed a manual sell order because it is above my line, which tells me that it is a good time to start selling. Now, the liquidity of 1.16942 has not yet been taken, but I will also sell right there. For me, 1.16900 is only for selling. Good luck, everyone!

As promised, below is the chart why I see 1.1694 as important and shorted there...

  1. I often keep the trendlines that I put on my charts. On weekly the trendline that was broken serves now as my reference angle and that's why I was often bullish when people were selling.
  2. Now.. that said, I also turned bearish at 1.1694 when people were buying because that trendline would cross with bull rally right at that point. So my reasoning was very simple. No rocket science.
  3. Please notice that market is actually in control of Gartley traders. But because it is the weekly, progress can't be seen easily by many. Step by step bears will take full control. Until then we can have spikes... rallies... a lot of things can happen.. So weekly should only be a guideline for us. But one thing for sure: bears are lurking all over the place.

In my humble opinion, it's not a good idea to sell today. We couldn't even hit daily pivot that tells you that bull are very active.
Risk comes from not knowing what to do

Order filled short @ 1.16980, as long as we dont break above previous high market remains sells for me. Atleast for today, hopefully we can get some seller strength to push down to 1.16700-750~ area and see from there

I’m not sure what’s going on, but I think with this rally, pretty much everything is priced in at this point. Therefore, I believe we should see a proper correction before speculating on another rise. I still think the price should first reach the 38.2% retracement level at 1.1253 (red arrow) on the daily chart, which corresponds to the rally from January to September of this year. Of course, I’m not sure if it will rise a bit further before that, but it is already in the overbought zone (yellow circle).
It seems like there’s not much room left for further gains at this point. A correction looks likely, but the market can always surprise us. Thanks, and good luck to you too! Let’s see how it plays out.

Well... it looks like sales won't happen just yet. Above my range of 1.17070, I'll sell again. We may reach the daily pivot point of 1.17300, so for now, I'll only buy with caution.

The bullish momentum is strong but we have critical Pivot points at 1.1715 & 1.1727
As a zone tester, it is my duty to test zones for pivot potential
