If you think "the market only moves in a trend 30% of the time,"

The definition of a trend varies from person to person.

With different parameters and different time frames, the definition of a trend varies greatly.

I'm just a profit-oriented gambler.

I simply follow price movements using the EMA and close when I make a profit.

If the EMA reverses direction before making a profit, I close the order and reopen it according to the EMA.

Tried KOF, tried your suggestion (go with trend with full EMAs ribbon developed) but always feel that EMAs are not enough and I am always on the wrong side, it looks like another confirmation is required here especially to me. Do you have any suggestion? I noticed that you are using RSI & CCI?

But follow EMA

You have to choose one first, kof or follow EMA
Don't use both if you are not proficient in either of them.

If you need additional confirmation, it is easiest with MACD above or below zero.
Use standard macd parameters

Follow price movements by following the EMA ,
You can use any EMA parameters that you have been using for a long time.

If you frequently change the EMA and Time frame parameters....Your mind will often be played with by your own feelings.
Our brains can more easily form our own character, if we do things regularly and in a directed manner.
