The EURUSD dropped below the 1.1645 support level to 1.1616, approaching the 1.1600/08 support zone. A break of this zone opens the road to 1.1574. Resistance at 1.1660 (above the broken support) is holding, preventing a test of 1.1680 and 1.1700. The US shutdown continues, but French politics also doesn't help the pair, so caution is required on longer-term buying. Today, we'll get the FOMC meeting minutes later after the US session open.

I would say probability of the EU breaking 1.16 down is low. I am going bullish with 40% of my total risk now and will add later if it goes down a bit more.

bear pressure is strong! Thought it would at least go back to 1650 first before next leg down

Good morning my friends - I am back. I really had to step back to grind for myself quite some time.

Every now and then I will post my trades and entries for those who are interested.


the day before yesterday I shorted London High. Actually I was expecting a reversal at an old Low but price seems to dip deeper. Let´s see what the rest of the week brings.

For now, I'm just observing what will happen in the next hour or two.
I have two nice levels I'd like to start buying at:
Level 1 @1590 (nice support on higher time frames)
Level 2 @1575 (volume concentration on higher time frames)
I hope the price will eventually visit these two today...

You might ask, why not 1600?
Because that's where all the retail stop-loss orders are, and just like yesterday, they'll most likely be EATEN UP by the big players.
Nevertheless.. I am betting 1.1600 will break during the day, but nothing is 100% in trading
For now, only "watching & observing"

yes, I am definetly with you. Between 1,15982 and 1,15739 I see an interesting area, too...

Price is definetly not done with the sweep. Asia low was taken only by 0,2 pips. It was just used for the inducement.

Structure for final sweep has already been engineered - you can see it on 15m timeframe. One last dip during NY AM manipulation.

Let´s see how it plays out

Closed the trade. +59 pips not bad for less than a day. Now will sit on the sidelines waiting for France news. If they go to elections then it can drop hard! FOMC and shutdown also in play, plenty of reading!

there will be no retest because London Accumulation High [04:00 NY time] has been swept at 06:45 NY time...
