may be they target 4300 by yearend as such the buying is too much and is stable consistent since 2035 was broken

I don’t have luck with gold these days.

couple hours ago sold , for me large, at 3982.

i couldn’t follow the price when it came to 70 and waiting for big drop , 20 dollars or more

and just this times pushed to the margin limits.
I decided to close it at be. And at the break of 3982 with 5 min candle I closed it. And it is now 10 dollar down

its the market being erratic cos theres no news to trade on. either that or the numbers got leaked and we just dont know. either way its market maker doing market maker stuff

Gold is expected to test major buy at 3969-65 and start buying from there but looking at the candles today it can fail to buy more and sell rather to create a higher low on some higher time frames, nonetheless we will buy at 3969-65 and if it fails to create a high and close below 3965 then we sell, so it's either a buy at 3969-65 or a close below 3965 (especially a close below 3960-57) for serious sells

EU/GU have both hit the weekly first main supports, while DXY retreated from 98.35 that's just near major resistance of turning point at 98.45 that raises doubts that at next direct hit of this resistance DXY might not find it that hard to boost above...or else the hold of recent supports in both pairs might have a short term breath for deeper retracement, though consolidation might also be an option ahead of FOMC meeting minutes later tonight...

Gold will try to kiss 4000 today, retracement levels are 3945, 3905 and 3875. Above 4000 and there'll be no talk anymore until further notice, but a base above 4000 is necessary to go to the unknown..., not just like hit and run back down...

A possible retrace back to the crucial level that I've talked about before 98.05-10 that was resistance, but rejection is expected, finding support there to go back upward to target 98.45 and above.
A rejection from 98.20 will be a more important sign of a stronger $ and focus will be back to 98.35-45 range

Expecting the buy at 3981-77 instead of 3970-65, so let say the first and minor buy entry at 3981-77 , then 3970-65 becomes our second and major buy entry, this is something new i learnt this week, a minor buy entry within a major buy after price test a higher time frame
