Cable on the H4 chart.
I have a hunch that we might have finished a big Wave B correction last week.
If that's the case, we could be starting the next major leg down, which would likely be a five-wave move.
Right now, it looks like we're still carving out the first leg of that drop (Wave 1).
We'll probably need to see a decent-sized pullback for Wave 2 before we get the bigger, more aggressive push down for Wave 3.
Zooming into the H1 chart, the trend is clearly down—just a steady pattern of lower lows and lower highs.
For me to believe that Wave 1 is finished, I'd need to see a solid break of structure to the upside.
If and when that happens, the first thing I'll do is slap a Fibonacci retracement tool on the entire Wave 1 move.
I'll be watching for a classic three-wave pullback into a Fib level to form Wave 2.
That area would be the sweet spot to start looking for short opportunities to ride the potential Wave 3 down.
Now, just because I've drawn this pretty picture it doesn't mean the market cares.
Market will fcuk us all the times.
Cable could just ignore my plan, keep making lower highs, and continue to drop.
So, to be clear, Wave 1 is definitely not confirmed to be over.
For now, the path of least resistance is still down.
I'd personally stick to looking for shorts unless we get that clear break of structure that tells us Wave 1 is done and the Wave 2 pullback is beginning.

ok gentlemen...im goin to be very busy this upcoming week starting today so i hope some others take up the slack and and keep the GU thread relevant.............. im still boolish and currently long with a average price of 3550 since FOMO got the better of me and i jumped in earlier than what i had planned good luck gentlemen till i return

heres a daily chart with the H+S blue lines i been goin on about for over a month
the red lines i just added and a daily close above the first one at fridays midpoint is boolish....a close today or tmoro above the dashed line is a buy signal
ill have more to say depending how today plays out tmoro
