NFP now is important because it could either confirm 25 bp cut in September or increase it to 50 bp. And "as expected" NFP around 70K or even 40-50K could trigger downside action just because they confirm only 25 bp cut and this will lead to results booking on gold.

I think there's more risk to the upside for gold.. 25bps is baked in, consensus is 97%. trump is spouting about the figures so my guess is he knows they are bad. I don't think anyone is seriously thinking 50bps cut but the figures might just be bad enough so it gets on the table......so gold goes up.
For NFP to make gold go down from here the number would need to be a huge surprise.

3600 is my only Harmonic target for this round. Weekly chart.
Of course there are other Harmonic targets but only on even higher timeframes such as the 12 months.
That is for next leg on weekly I guess.

NFP is notorious for destroying technical setups every now and then. Not a lot of data releases are able to do that! RESPECT!
...still, we have very good levels to trade it!
