RSI is back below 70 with STOCH supporting RSI on weekly TF so i am expecting price to go up and then start selling

Hello everyone! The EURUSD price continues to move within the descending channel formed on the H4 timeframe. At the same time, the price broke through the support level of 1.1682. I expect the bearish movement to continue with the target being the support level of 1.1625.

It's been a sluggish morning, and it's still unclear what will happen next.
I'm waiting for some significant volume to enter the market and finally move in some direction.
As of 10:00 AM (London), I'm assuming this scenario for today, but of course, this could change throughout the day.

Holding my long position

As discussed before 1.1625 proved to be key resistance level. It seems bulls have the upper hand for now, which should expose 1.1710 level (Downward trend resistance, R1 Pivot and EMA35). That should be a nice set-up for a shorting opportunity.

If I read correctly your chart, you are saying that price will meet resistance at 1.1710 - 1.1720 range. What is the red level in between your Sell area and the resistance? Is that your SL?

This red line represents the convergence of several peaks from June and July, along with a pool of liquidity..(pending orders)
If the bulls get too excited during the New York session and jump too high, simply put, this can be their last defence line.
It is better seen on a renko chart...(NOISE FILTERED)

The stop loss for unconfirmed sell pending orders should be much higher. Mine is NOW at 1.1799
However, if a downward trend is confirmed, the stop loss could be moved lower, but not now..

The Eur/Usd chart 4H timeframe in the London session is currently in a downtrend.
The volitality of the pair is reduced as it is not touching the extremes of the downward channel.
Here are the confluences :

  1. The pair is in downtrend and is following the downward channel.
  2. The price is in the temporary consolidation 1.16980-1.16693 approx.This is due to the FVG created in the 1H timeframe between 1.16686-1.16606. High SSL is present in this area. Thats the reason price has bounced off it several times.Now as the 10AM candle has mitigated it we would not consider it as FVG. Rather we consider it as a liquid area and another liquid area is formed between 1.16998-1.16861.
  3. The price has recently created a FVG in the 1H timeframe between 1.16801-1.16704.
  4. The price is forming equal highs but lower lows.
  5. The BB is also showing indication for the short trades.
  6. The price will face high resistance of the 100 EMA at the upper line of the downward channel.

So to conclude the price is going to hit the channel or just reverse from the liquid area and hit the FVG.1H and probably it would create IFVG. After that it would follow the downtrend.
To minimize the risk and unceratainity we would place our stoploss just just above the channel and the TP would be at the 4H FVG. Trailing stops are more probably to work here.
A good RR of 1.6 is achieved and trailing stops are a good option
