Yet another zone breached without retracement. The system may not be followed today, interesting. Will look for one more opportunity before I reached my max quota of trades for today. Will do a more focused review tonight after my intraday trades are done.

This morning after marking out my zones, I setup both my sell and buy limit orders and went out for a walk. 30 minutes later, I checked my phone and price action barely missed my EP by that 0.01%. A moment of anxiety set in, “What if the trade didn’t enter because of spread?”

When I open my trading app, a sense of relief as the trade did enter and TP-ed. Let’s do this.

You should set RR: 1:1.5 because I see your win commands are all 1.5

Hi, what are win commands?

I set my R:R to 1:1 because I'm comfortable with risking 100% for 100%. I have conducted back test of my system, and the results prove that 1:1 R:R works best, so I will stick with that.

Tested my system on the US session one last time and came to the conclusion that my zones only work during the Asian and Pre-US London session. Trade SL-ed, lesson learned, let's move on, let's do this.

Trade SL-ed. Interesting observation as I was trying to refine my zones further and make them more narrow, the less retracement reactions I am seeing nowadays. Sometimes what is considered as refinement to us may just turn out to be detrimental instead. Reverting back to the old system.

Trade SL-ed. When a trade goes smoothly, it reaches TP level, but guess what? Broker spread got in the way by 0.5 pip. It was a pain train when I head back to my trading app to see a SL instead of a well deserved TP. But it is what it is, move on, to the next trade. Zone's working well again, that's all I needed to know.

Marked my zones, setup my limit orders, let price action do its thing. 1 Hour later, price action goes into my trade order, goes down, about 10 pips away from my SL, retraces and proceeds to hit TP. A decent trade to start the week with. Let's do this.

Trade SL-ed. Price action broke through marked zone with ease. Since yesterday price action did not touch my marked zones, I left it there and decided to rely on them today. It may be necessary for me to go through the zones on a daily basis no matter breached or not.

2nd time in a row my marked zone was rejected and trade SL-ed. Important lesson to note for today: Do not trade on the last trading day of the month.

Trade SL-ed. Once again, zones are not respected and being breached again. This month, based on historical statistics, I will be introducing 1:2 R:R ratio for my trades. Will test it out for the entire month of May. Let's do this.
